Selling a used FITCAMX 4k front camera taken out of my Taycan 4S CT.
Comes with the 64gb SD card and card reader
I’m only selling it as I’ve not sold my Taycan due to funding a new house.
I’ve not got the box or the trim removal tool as I’ve binned them but is in excellent condition.
I...
Good to see you are in Sheffield as I'm not the only Taycan owner driving around in a coat and hat...
Mine has packed up as well - booked in for a service at Sheffield and asked them to fix the heater at the same time...
Definitely get an extended warranty.
I've had numerous boot lid issues and now the heater has gone.
Good price for the service, although when on earth did 3 windscreen wipers cost £100+...
I just gave up and turned off the smart charging - I only do one long journey a week so can optimise my charging using the over night cheap electricity. If I find I need more than that, I might turning it back on.
But at the moment for the easiest life, I just need the wife to be able to plug...
A 22kW AC charger offers a faster, but not as fast, charge as a DC charger by converting power in your EV, making it ideal for home or destination charging, while a DC charger delivers power directly to the battery for extremely rapid charging, best for long-distance travel and quick top-ups...
Thats not how it works. The 22kw charger in that instant is irrelevant.
If you plug your car into a 350kw charger, it will charge at that speed.
I don't have the the 22kw charger - my car happily charges at 250kw+ at the Ionity chargers.
But we used to have a 22kw charger at work - my car in...
Is a tough decision as there isn't many EV cars on the road that look as good as the Taycan and if you have one you like that doesn't cause you problems, why change.
That being said, I recently sat in a Lotus Emeya and why I don't think its exterior looks as nice as the taycan, it's interior...
I had a response from Porsche yesterday:
"Thank you very much for your continued patience and understanding while we carefully look into the concerns you have raised regarding your Porsche Connect Services. I truly appreciate the time and effort you have invested in this matter, and I fully...
Tell me more about this setup - we also have the ID3 as well.
At the moment I have the wall charger setup to on a schedule to just unlock between the cheap rate and then we plugin whenever we need charge - charging only starts after 11:30pm and runs until 5:30.
I'd love to know your setup and...
Brake fluid was done last year during the brake hose recall.
They wanted £200+VAT for the brake fluid.
Not sure why the price went down to £409, but I spoke to Sheffield directly as they seemed to offer me a much better price over the JCT call centre price.
Just booked with Sheffield - decided to avoid the call centre and direct dial to the service chap who was looking at the Sat Nav issue.
4 year service, hire car and they removed the brake fluid change - £409 including VAT
I think the OIG is a great idea, it just doesn't work for our household. I've had it turned off for over a year now.
The car is still showing in the Octopus app, but the smart charge is disabled for now. Hopefully they will leave me alone again for a year.
I just have my charger set on a...
Turned the OIG off as well - just didn't suit my needs and as we have two EV's
I also had Octopus contact me saying they’ll switch me to an ‘unintelligent’ rate unless I add a device to their app. So I've done it, set up a few intelligent charges then disabled the OIG. Hopefully that gets...
Mine updated yesterday morning, but I have the charge planner turned off and since then its not missed anything and not stalling at all...
That is 2 journeys at over 100 miles each time with charge planning off and working perfectly...
