  1. Underbody Protection Panel damaged. Batteries and coolant lines need inspection. $72.5K replacement & labor cost. Dealership is Tom Wood in Indiana

I would suggest that this alone is good enough reason not to buy a Taycan. I Was on the verge of buying a ST GTS but hesitating due to ongoing depreciation concerns. This has put me off completely. Will stick with my 2018 Macan GTS and buy myself a nice 996 C4S instead and make it perfect. Would...
  2. Used Taycan GTS v new Macan GTS

What an idiotic thing to say! I already have a Macan GTS so want a fast good handling Porsche with four seats and decent luggage space. Don’t want a Panamera or a Cayenne and, although my preference is for a Taycan, just not sure if the UK infrastructure is good enough yet and whether the G1...
  3. Used Taycan GTS v new Macan GTS

Only spend around £250 month on fuel Taycan Insurance an extra £80 per month but no tax so extras are marginal
  4. Used Taycan GTS v new Macan GTS

Thanks for your informative response. I drive 40 miles to work on a Monday - stay away and do about another 50 miles around town during the week and then drive home on a Friday so no more than 150 miles a week with a very occasional long distance journey when going away for a weekend. Reallly...
  5. Used Taycan GTS v new Macan GTS

Were all the controls touch screen or buttons?
  6. Used Taycan GTS v new Macan GTS

Who knows - last of the ICE Macan’s may be desirable. If it was Gen 2 Taycan with 360 miles range and fast charging it would be a no brainer. The old Taycans will depreciate badly due to old battery tech
  7. Used Taycan GTS v new Macan GTS

That can’t have been the latest Macan as it would have had the dial on the steering
  8. Used Taycan GTS v new Macan GTS

Yes I think you are right - seen one for £9k more but with 21 agree 100% - amazing car- but buying privately and wonder whether it will be worth about £25k in three years time as opposed to the Macan which would still be worth 70% +
  9. Used Taycan GTS v new Macan GTS

My wife has a Velar so covered on the SUV front. Only concern is finding charge points on the occasional long journey eg Manchester to London
  10. Used Taycan GTS v new Macan GTS

Found another Taycan GTS same age but with all the options for £9k more. Probably a better bet long term and see if I can get them down to £78k ?
  11. Used Taycan GTS v new Macan GTS

Yes thats the one - £15k down and & circa £600 month over 3 years with a £47k residual Bit of a bargain but no pan roof, no surround camera and no Bose. the Macan is dated inside but still a very nice place to be with the Python Green GTS interior and sport pack. PSW4A3C6 Thinking long and hard
  12. Used Taycan GTS v new Macan GTS

Currently have a 2018 Macan GTS and have a new highly spec'd Macan GTS arriving in July costing circa £90K. I Do about 8000 miles per year. I am beginning to wonder whether I should buy a used Taycan ST GTS instead for £72K, 9 months old, 4k miles. Much cheaper monthly cost including fuel. Love...
