but i dont find passenger screen useful. If I could project andorid auto on it, it would be nice for passenger to fiddle with music. OR split Android auto on 2 screens
ugh there are many in forums that claim PDCC does provide ride comfort advantages on various models. 911 related: https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1164978-pdcc-and-ride-quality.html
this part explains it well. you get low spring rate with active rollbars (PDCC):
porsche doesnt explain or compare it to other passive anti-rollbars. they're more stressing how it is more efficient than implementation in other cars like Rivian R1S or other gas porsches. (R1S uses hydraulic active rollbar, same as McLarens). Do they explain it well for gas car pdcc like 911?
from what i heard active ride adds lot of comfort by keeping chassis very flat over bumps, curves in normal mode. however, in sport mode active ride is turned off.
on a standard car without PDCC, anti rollbar is always engaged at its peak/normal stiffness which connects left and right suspension overall increasing stiffness. But when car has PDCC, active rollbar is fully disengaged (or has minimum firmness) hence each side suspension is more independent...
Interesting.
Turbos have lesser aero-dynamic wheels by default. I wonder if this test was done with same wheels across.
Curious what makes turbo more efficient than 4s? AFAIK its slightly heavier.
Is it the added body panels on front and back that improve aero?
Any link to source?
is coding possible on taycans? if yes, is there a list of modules/features that are supported?
Anyone now of anyone offering coding service in california/online?
I've noticed that on some well designed speed bumps (rounded off nicely), when taycan drives at about 20mph over them, I dont feel the speed bump at all (car stays flat).
My car is specced with PDCC and theoretically, PDCC disengages anti-rollover bars when driving straight, which should soften...

so the rear passenger door mid speaker started to rattle at higher volumes. I added adhesive foam (of about 7mm thickness) strip around the speaker circumference which added additional distance for speaker travel. No need to shave plastics. no more distortion.
