I agree to your thoughts. And I will add that buying such an expensive car you should always set aside an amount for unforseen things. I budget with 10% on top of the car price for unforseen things during ownership. Usually I get positively surpriced. Even an expensive repair at some point is...
Thanks - it sounds doable, regardless of others warning. Maybe also a matter of personal risk. A better route planner can set minimum level before charging and you should be able to prepare the battery for fast charging temperature using porsche connect for next charging station, have I heard?
Thanks. I forgot to say performance plus battery is a must, yes. I think you can get rear wheel steering for all year models, so I should maybe not have brought that up. So the question is really is it a stretch to expect to drive for 3 hours and charge for max 20 min in year models 2020-2022?
Hi.
I'm looking for a used Taycan 4 or 4S with rear wheel steering for driving in Europe. I understand that there were some major upgrades in year 2023 and 2025 regarding range and high speed charging.
My basic requirement is that it can easily drive for 2-3 hours with charging stops around...
I'm astonished and so thankful for all the enthusiasm in this forum. I just put this question to get a bit of a guidance. You have overwhelmed me with answers... and conviction.
Thanks so much, Lars
Thanks for the great and quick answers here. It sounds quite convincing to go with the rear steering. I got answers - as asked - about the parking. Can anyone also add how the difference will be during higher speed, when changing lanes or going into sharper curves?
Thanks again, Lars
Hi. I'm considering to get rear wheel steering on a Taycan 4S. Particularly I'm hoping for easier parking in smaller spaces.
How much of a difference does rear wheel steering make? Is it worth it?
Best regards Lars
