    My 2022 Taycan 4S - 4 years later

I loved my 4S but couldn't stomach the £1000 a month depreciation I was experiencing ,even though it was 4 years old when I purchased from Porsche Man Dealer. Have gone back to ICE in shape of Macan 2.0T but do miss the instant power and drive of the Taycan. Would have another Taycan if I wasn't...

Is porsche approved used worth the extra money?

Porsche dealers can only provide a Warranty once all recalls have been completed hence all historic issues will have been completed. I appreciate there is a premium buying direct from Porsche dealer but at least you have confidence any issues will be addressed if necessary. Mine came with Night...

Is porsche approved used worth the extra money?

My 2020 4S came with 2 year Porsche Warranty which runs out in October at which time I will get the car serviced and pay for an additional 2 year warranty to take up to 8 years old after which battery warranty expires. To date I have travelled over 12000 miles with no issues at all but it gves...

Approved used car pick up - won’t provide history

I purchased my used Taycan 4S from Porsche Teesside just over a year ago. This included a 2 year Porsche Warranty and as such all recalls and updates had to be completed before the car could be assigned a Warranty. To date and having travelled over 12000 miles n the car I have had no reason for...

    New Owner 2020 Taycan 4s

If we read and listened to all the negativity around the Taycan we would never have purchased one in the first place! However, I'm in year 2 of owning a 2020 4S and have loved every day of ownership to date. I don't read manuals unless there's an issue but have found many useful tips on Taycan...

Taycan (2026) critical failure warning UK

it's down to minus 8 in Northumberland but still getting 190 miles range for 85% charge on my 5 year old Taycan 4S. Love getting into a toasty warm car having put pre conditioning on for 30 minutes prior to leaving the house. Amazed at battery operating temperature when on the road (12 Deg C...

    New Owner 2020 Taycan 4s

I have the same model and with 34000 miles and at this time of year 85% charge delivers 200 miles. If you’ve only just got the car I would reset the consumption data and start again as it will vary dependent on driver and usage.

The Porsche Taycan is my biggest disappointment this decade

I have had my 2020 Taycan 4S, which had 24000 miles on the clock, for just over a year now and have covered 10000 miles to date. Purchased from main Porsche Dealer (Teesside) with 2 years Warranty which I have not had to call on so far. I had the MOT done in October and it sailed through with no...

    First Road Trip

I normally charge my 2020 4S Taycan at home so in the year I’ve owned the car not really tested charging away from home until now. Packed car with provisions for a week in South Peak District staying in a beautiful apartment with hot tub. Fully charged car (262 miles) and set off. We stopped 2...

Looking for input on range - Confused

I a have 2020 Taycan 4S with extended battery which at the moment is showing 220 miles range at 85% charge. When charging to 100% the range is 255 miles and both figures are pretty accurate when driving the actual miles.

    Intelligent Octopus Go - Working!

I assume your car is under 3 years old and has Porsche Connect functions. As mine is 4 year old and I don’t subscribe to Porsche App Octopus App cannot communicate with my car. However I am still able to take advantage of cheap overnight electricity by using Porsche App timers to start charging.

Buying advice for CPO 4S, Turbo, or Turbo S?

Hi, I purchased the 2020 4S with extended battery pack which on full charge comes up as 272 miles and 225 miles at 85% charge. These figures were reduced down to 230 and 207 miles during cold weather (around -5 overnight) but are accurate and remain consistent when driving. All recalls have...

New vs. Used Porsche Taycan: Is It Worth the Extra €40k?

I bought a 4 year old 4S with 24000 miles on the clock. It is a one owner car with full Porsche Service History and came with a 2 year Porsche Warranty and 4 year service plan when taking out Porsche Finance. All factory recalls have been completed and the car is great to drive and with my...

From 4S to Turbo S - is it worth it?

Why change just to lose even more money due to depreciation. I love my 2020 4S which I purchased October. Not worried about historical issues as a Porsche warranty which also means all recalls have been carried out.

    1 Month Update

Hi, I've had my Taycan 4S 2020 for a month now and have nothing but praise for the car. Love putting it into Sports Mode and getting the Grand kids to giggle as their tummies are left behind. As winter sets in getting into a warm frost free car without having to de ice windows or wear a wooly...

    Night Vision Assist Fault

I picked up my used Taycan 4S a couple of weeks ago and love the car but have an issue with the night vision assist that is in fault or the display just show grey? As I purchased from main Porsche dealership I have asked if this will be covered under the warranty. Although I would not spec a car...
