This worked for me too. I put the car in drive and the value shows up. I am at 341 too. So, now when I do the ECU swap I should see an instant change there.
I just loaded up CarScanner and I could not find where "available torque" is listed. Do I need to drive the car to record values? I wanted to validate the stock setting.
REDSHIFT programs that for you. You can not change it once you receive your unit. When you order the ECU you specify to them HOW you want it to operate. For example, mine is total stock in NORMAL mode, and fully modified in SPORT mode.
REDSHIFT ships you a whole new ECU. That way your original stock ECU is untouched and can be put back into the car. The new ECU just plugs in and you are good to go.
You do need an OBD2 dongle with Bluetooth and scanner app to get the values from the stock ECU to send to REDSHIFT and they use...
I have been logging some runs in stock mode first and recording them with DRAGY. I received the REDSHIFT unit and will be installing it this week. Then I will run more tests and compare. For your reference, right now I am getting these values in stock mode:
0-60: 4.96seconds

I emailed him directly at: [email protected] and got a very fast response.
I am going to have the original ECU to swap back in if I ever need to go to dealer. I am going to keep it in the car in the frunk and the tool to put it back in, in case I break down, I can do the swap on...
I ordered the RedShift Secondary ECU. I also ordered Draggy so I can measure my performance before and after.
I opted for:
Speed Limiter Removal
Unfiltered Throttle response in SPORT mode only. NORMAL mode is going to remain stock.
I didnt opt for the Recuperation Increase. I like how the...
Thank you for that. Where can you get PIWIS? I assume its a software package? Does it connect through OBD2? I have a blue tooth dongle and run CarScanner with it. Similar kind of deal?
@redshift-performance Is it possible to leave NORMAL mode the same as stock, and only apply these upgrades to SPORT mode? Or is it across the board changes no matter the mode?
I bought a used Taycan and it doesn't not have the Chrono package, and thus, does not have the steering wheel with the drive mode selector dial. I really would like to have that drive mode selector on my steering wheel and wondered if I could replace my steering wheel with one that has it. Can...
