I had an unwelcome visitor last year. We kept smelling a pungent broccoli smell in the garage. Took it to the dealer for service and asked them to investigate the smell. $6,500 later (insurance paid :-))Here are the pics:
I finally fixed it, I started pressing all the different buttons, even ones I never use, like blinkers, and blinkers and alarm and then finally the app connected to the car and I was able to use all the options.
Anyone else have problems with the updated app? Mine keeps showing 82% charged, regardless of the actual charge. The pre-climate does not work anymore. It’s a PITA.
I use Nexar, have front, interior and back camera. Includes parking mode. Very happy with it, can make incident report to zend to Police, insurance, etc
Nice write up, and some great tips. We are planning a similar trip this year,so will keep some of your recommendations and suggestions in mind. I have been using a better route planner (ABRP) navigation app for a while now and really like it. you can link it with the Taycan OBD, so it has all...
Total cost was $ 5,400. It was covered by my car insurer, luckily.
it was a rat, car is always garage parked, but went out one night and parked in the grass, so suspect he must have crawlde in. Luckily didnt chew on anything. That would have been even more expensive.
I installed the Nexar dashcam, which also allows you to monitor it live, i.e. when you have your car in for service, or valet park it. And it will record any incidents, so someone bumping the car when parking will have a recording of it. Plus it's connected to the OBD and not a USB plug.
