Probably an unpopular opinion due to buck teeth, but the BMX iX is phenomenal. Traded in our R1S Quad Motor and couldn't be happier. We have the '25 xDrive50, but the M70 is even better. Have a '21 Taycan 4S, '22 Cayenne GTS, and '96 993. The iX although isn't nearly as precise at the Porsche's...
I own both (21 Taycan 4S, 23 Cayenne GTS). Very different vehicles, but my Cayenne rides very nicely. There's no body roll at all with the PDCC. My Taycan does not have PDCC and I actually think they corner similarly.
Sounds like the issue with many are uninformed dealers. Mine reaches our proactively. Posted this in another thread, but just had ARBs done.

Is it a lot of recalls? Sure. But I'd rather be Porsche be proactive. They seem to recall items that other companies tend to skirt, outside of the "mandated" ones. It does depend on your service center though - mine is great, always fixed the first time. I will email to ensure remedy is...
I must have gotten the golden egg. I haven't experienced any of that. 200 recalls yes, and a couple times in 3 years I've gotten a keep you hands on the wheel alert. Our R1S on the other hand has had a few more significant issues - very poor panel alignment (fixed), but software-wise, PAAK...
Well this true about the camera, but like everything else you get used to it. I have the 360 with the top down so usually use that when it tight spots. I was also just commenting about infotainment/software from a general standpoint. I personally would never consider a Tesla.
Curious why people harp on the software and infotainment. I get in my car and drive, maybe throw the navigation on, rarely need to dive into menus. If they made a Taycan with no screens and just a HUD, I'd take that. Same with our R1S, the extend of screen use is just to switch the suspension...
Posting my receipts here. Was no big deal to me personally. I bought a car knowing it was new tech. Porsche has been cautious and done a number of recalls. Maybe it's just my dealer but everything has been smooth through them all.
Yeah, I would say not to judge any one model based on the Hybrid version. I had a e-Hybrid Panamera and didn't like it. Drove a Panamera GTS and felt much different.
