  1. Looking for a detailer

Sorry for the delayed reply. He was a little guarded with his answer but as I recall he implied that it was just an upsell and that if you had him detail once or twice a year it was unnecessary.
  2. Texas Residents Electric Vehicle Rebate

I applied for one on my Turbo S several weeks ago and got notice I was approved a few days back. Check hasn't arrived yet though.
  3. Looking for a detailer

I had a text exchange with Carlos today. It turns out he doesn't do ceramic coatings and interesting enough doesn't recommend it. I was planning on getting my car coated but now I'm having second thoughts.
  4. Another 12V issue

I took delivery June 29. My car was a "launch vehicle" so it was early production.

  6. Another 12V issue

Took my car into my dealer today for a tire problem and was told they were going to replace my 12V battery on the basis of a recall. Sadly I don't have any more details but it was apparently issued in the last few days.

  11. Graphene vs Ceramic?

  12. Any Taycans in Dallas/Ft Worth TEXAS?

I owned a Fisker Karma and had a charger from Schneider Electric installed for it years ago. Its a basic "no frills" unit but so far works fine with the Taycan. I can't remember where I bought it. A co-worker's husband is a master electrician and I hired him on the side to install it.

I took delivery of my Turbo S in gentian blue from Porsche Plano last Monday. Saw a frozen blue in the wild in Plano.

  15. Best way to clean the rear diffuser?

Washed my Taycan for the first time today. Was in a brief but brisk downpour on Thursday. Most of the car stayed pretty clean but the rear end seemed to really accumulate dirt. Getting the rear diffuser clean with all of those horizontal slats was tedious. Any suggestions on cleaning it...
  16. Most cost effective way to do aftermarket wheels?

What's the most cost efficient way to do get aftermarket wheels? Order the same size as the aftermarkets will be, get the tires swapped onto the aftermarket wheels, and then sell the originals (on something like eBay)?

Are there disadvantages to Mission E wheels compared to 19" or 20" wheels? Harsher ride? Easier to scuff? Easier to bend? Decreased range? ???
