Another vote for the Spyders

I received my 20" Sport Aero Winter Wheel Set yesterday. Some Gen-1 Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance tires were mounted on them. Looking at the DOT codes, they were both manufactured in late 2019. Rubber looks like in good condition. Do you guys think I can use them for a couple of winters?

No experience with other wheel sizes other than the 21” RS Spyders that came with my car. However I must say that my 21 inch wheels have been a pothole magnet this winter and I’ve had to replace 3 tires in one winter due to sidewall damage. Bad luck and poor road conditions potentially. But...

I was just notified that the the winter set I ordered had “older / expired” tires. I am waiting for a follow up about their manufacture date. But it still seems like an ok deal just for the wheels. They didn’t mention them being disabled or drilled though. What would be everyone’s comfort level...

Thanks for the link. Ordered the 20” Aero winter set. FYI not shipping out until at least March, but that shouldn’t be an issue for most people.
