I have this problem and mine goes in Friday. I also have a very wet trunk which they beleive is caused by a leaky pano roof seal which then caused the tailgate not to function....not good as the pano roof needs to come off!!

I have an update, eventually. The current dealer thought is that there is a roof seal leak which then runs down the c-pillar and on to the tailgate electronics. They think they will need to remove and reseal the pano roof and then change the tailgate control unit. However, getting it booked...

My CT is in for water ingress which seems to have caused the control module to fail so the trunk does not open (it locks and unlocks ok). At the moment I know not why but ill keep you updated; should hear today or perhaps tomorrow.

I picked the car up on Friday and have spent 2 days practically living in it :). Great car, love it and taken a few pics this morning.
