BMW always lies about their numbers. I have first gen ix50 and I'm getting far more than what they estimated in terms of range. I'm getting 390 miles. I bet new i3 will have more than 500 mi range. Even though it says 440mi

  3. Winter tires for RWD Taycan

Definitely worth it especially on RWD Taycan. Of course it's not cheap to replace but definitely worth it. I think I spent $1800 for good set of performance winter tires and worth every penny
  4. "The new Cayenne Electric Driver Experience" - Porsche Newsroom

I wonder how many more software, electronic issues and recalls there will be. In the EV market, I believe BMW will be the only German brand that truly succeeds. I own a Taycan Turbo, a BMW iX, and a BMW i7, and based purely on EV technology and overall build quality, BMW is far ahead of Porsche.
  5. NHTSA Complaint - Taycan shakes, brakes on its own, then Engine Control Error - Dec. 8, 2025

If you search taycan engine control error, will be able to find tons of posts regarding this. 6. NHTSA Complaint - Taycan shakes, brakes on its own, then Engine Control Error - Dec. 8, 2025

It's super common taycan problem. The inverter needs to be replaced. Changing front inverter is pretty simple but Porsche needs to follow their own manual so they have to drop down entire battery pack. Labor alone cost around 10k. They charge $260 an hour and it takes 36 hr to complete

Hope they recall 2020~2023 Taycans for this matter. Inverter needs to be replaced. Porsche will recommend to replace complete front motor unit even though it's only the inverters problem. It will cost 30k including parts and labor.

Can't wait to buy mine after 60% depreciation within 2 years
  9. Engine control error

Had same issues with 2020 Taycan Turbo. You need to replace the front inverter. Changing front inverter is pretty simple but Porsche always have to follow thier manual so it will take about 38 hrs with $275 hourly rate, labor alone will cost over 10k. It's not the transmission it's the inverter...

  11. Taycan tuned: 950 hp through software tuning

Im really interested in purchasing. I own 2020 Taycan Turbo, is this software available for pre facelift version as well? And will it increase 0 to 60 time as well? My turbo can do 0 to 60 in 3 sec but I'm curious how much improvement would I get after I get this software.
