Recent Tesla customer service experience for comparison

My local dealer has tire quotes online: https://www.pcnatirestore.com/InitDealer?dealer=4500150 Your's might too if you know the "dealer number".

Recent Tesla customer service experience for comparison

This is how it worked for me both times I've taken my Taycan to the local dealer. I still had to drop off the car, hand over the keys, sign paper work, etc. They did get me a Lyft back home (I opted for that rather than wait for a loaner). On pick up i had to go in, sign more paper work and...

    12V battery died

I hope that's true for all the lithium Ion batteries like the Taycan uses. It's definitely not true for lead batteries... my 2018 Tesla model 3 has needed a replacement ever 4 years so far.

718/983 Cayman & Boxster Leaks & confirmed features

There are several of us who don't want to hear an engine but want a smaller, fast and great handling EV. There is no substitute for instant torque and the only thing I want to hear is when the tires are about to fail.

    12V battery died

All the Taycan's have an update to help with this (not sure about 2026, since it may have come with it already). I don't think I've heard anyone get an alert yet though.

Successful Matrix headlight activation for US Taycan

You'd still have to rent the PIWIS again, correct?

Successful Matrix headlight activation for US Taycan

You should ask how much to reactivate it when Porsche service kills it.

Yes… 316.96 was the total all in for the battery replacement and the air filter. in two weeks I’m having a general inspection and the brake fluid tested. That will cost around 400.00.

Picked up 2024 Turbo S on July 10th (9 days ago) - Still waiting to get verified in My Porsche App

Some stuff may need to be done at the dealer. Might want to talk to your closest dealer and see what's due.

Recent Tesla customer service experience for comparison

I have a 2018 Tesla Model 3 that was replaced by my Taycan. It's going to my son as he learns to drive. It doesn't require much attention and hasn't had any issues or any need for service for the last 4 years, so it's been a long while since I've experienced their service. Four years ago (the...

Based only on the video, that could easily be the road or the tires.

J1.2 PCM stuck offline — "login not possible" — anything left to try before a dealer visit?

I had some conflicts when I first set things up staying connected to my home WiFi and Carplay. I disabled WiFi and haven't had any issues since (haven't had a need for wifi at all, though youtube will play faster).

Picked up 2024 Turbo S on July 10th (9 days ago) - Still waiting to get verified in My Porsche App

No Porsche charge cards in the US. Everything is pretty much driven through apps you need to download. If you're taking the car on a trip, use something like www.abetterrouteplanner.com to decide ahead of time where you want to charge. Then make sure you look up the requirements for each of...

The continuing story of dots on my windshield

I'll probably buy a set of the towels he recommends and give them a try. If they work, I'll retire my current set of glass towels.

The continuing story of dots on my windshield

hmmm.... I ran across this Out of Spec Detailing video talking about a new glass towel and I think he may have pointed out my problem directly (I've had problems getting good photos or video). The problem looks like the video at 7:29 and he's saying it's lint (see video below). Lint would...

    Pale Blue Metallic Taycan Club

I'm currently reconsidering PPF for my car and asked the owner of my shop about the windshield. He recommended against it for me... not his words, but apparently I'm too sensitive and will be unhappy with the view (this shop uses Ultrafit WinCrest EVO if that matters... this is my shop's owner...
