  1. 285/35-20 Square Setup for Track

Anyone know if you can still do a 20x10 square setup on a 2026 CT? With the suspension changes for Porsche active ride, I wasn't sure if the changes internal clearances for the front tires and/or if the OP's ST has different outer/fender clearances than the CT.
  2. Autocrossing a Taycan CT

I aired down once, pressure crept back up to 42. Afternoon session definitely had less traction than the morning. Or felt that way. Or I have more power than I know how to manage :) What do you run your tire pressure on for 20"? (if you run 20")
  3. Autocrossing a Taycan CT

I was all over the place Sunday as I fought momentum and insufficient grip for my weight. I mean I know I suck. This is at the forefront of my mind prior to our next session in August. I think I'm going to go down the rabbit hole of figuring out what a set of square rims would look like cost...
  4. Autocrossing a Taycan CT

Thanks, super helpful both of you. I've been reading, researching, listening to folks here, and this is what I think I've figured out so far? The overwhelming suggestion is to go with a "square" setup of 20x10 rims because: * Autocross tires like the Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS dont fit...
  5. Autocrossing a Taycan CT

Did you have weight concerns? Or is this a non-issue?
  6. Autocrossing a Taycan CT

Did you purchase a second set of rims?
  7. Autocrossing a Taycan CT

Prefacing this: Fast car, slow driver. Looking for information, wisdom, judgement. The Car: 2026 Taycan 4s CT, PAR, RAS, 20" summer conti tires. First off, yes, the big CT is fun to autocross. Its heavy, there is a lot of tire noise, but handles and brakes well (even with the normal brakes)...

  9. My First Taycan- Turbo GT Weissach!! Pics and Owner Review / Thoughts!!

Yeah, but they're a different color. I like the gold. I think gold might look good on my neptune blue? I dont think I'd like black.
  10. My First Taycan- Turbo GT Weissach!! Pics and Owner Review / Thoughts!!

I like these wheels. I wonder how you order them? Only at time of equip?
  11. Simulated Idle?

I love that for so many people the Taycan is giving them the experience they want. I never really drove an automatic before my eTron, and am used to not having 'creep'. I do use the HOLD function. Just wish I had an option similiar to my standard or some other electrics. At the end of the...
  12. Simulated Idle?

My 2019 etron does not do this. Interesting that the mini does as well. Ah well, was hoping, but not surprised.
  13. Simulated Idle?

I do know that. Just looking for something permanent.
  14. Simulated Idle?

When I take my foot off the brake, the Taycan goes, just like an ICE engine with an idle. I have to confess, after driving an electric before it - that did precisely nothing if you weren't pressing on the accelerator - as well as cars with clutches, this behavior kinda drives me nuts. Proper...
  15. Radar Detector Recommendations

Doesn't the insulated/acoustic glass interfere with an interior detector?
  16. How did you program your 🔹buttons?

It does. They're under the mirror, but they arent super tactile or as easy to push as the popup on screen.
  17. How did you program your 🔹buttons?

Great thread. I dont seem to be able to get the button to give me homelink as an option. Nor can I find anything on home link that allows me to do geolocation. Have this on my audi love it. I have a J1.2. On the homelink I have the button programming page and an info page. There is also a...
  18. Tracking the Taycan at Watkins Glen International

Back when I was young I did formula fords and my honda CRX at the glen, can remember dirving into fog so dense I couldnt see. But fun track! I recently took my taycan to autocross locally through the porsche club's novice day. It had been 35 years since I'd done anything like that - was a good...
  19. Power on/off button.. Long press time?

OK, super helpful. Where I live locking things isnt really needed. Plus, being in a garage locking was doubly unnecessary. But now I know - double tap or lock the car turns it off. I knew I'd be glad to have posted this question.
