    2027 BMW i3 EV Sedan Revealed (440 Miles Range, 463 HP / 476 LB-FT)

The current tests in real world for the ix3 are showing a 10 to 80% in 22 to 25 min. That’s slower than even the J1.1. They were claiming 400kw peak but the curve is not good in real world. I prefer a fast charging car than a long range and it won’t have a long range when you will drive fast on...

EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

Why Porsche can't do like Volvo and replace the current PCM that have problems with the latest version and new software? https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/eu-uk-ongoing-navigation-issues.28704/ Even if the customer would have to pay for it, some of us would be happy to keep the latest...

EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

If you place a dc charger as destination, there is no problem with pre-heating of the battery.

EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

And on top of it, you don't trust the brand anymore. Why this problem would not occur again with the J1.2 Taycan or the Cayenne EV? I'm fed up with them and even if I'm going to loose a lot, I'm going to sell mine and not buying another Porsche for the moment. Sad as it's a great car to...

EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

They already know if you put off the charge planner, it will crash less often. I have my car back. They have replaced fully the pcm and instead of 3885, they left it at 3882 as they think the latest update with the battery management might have caused the issue. So I’m downgraded from 3885...

EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

Yes, I have ABRP with OBP but it's not always plugged and I have the loink with Porsche and tronity as well. But I nearly always plan in advance in ABRP and keep a copy of the planned trip on my phone even for the long 1000 km trips that I do 4 times a year. I'm like that, I like to plan in...

EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

But if I do as usual, plan my stops with ABRP and enter the next stop as destination and as a charger, the car will precondition and give me the % at that stop? If it's the case and it never crash anymore, I could live with this.

EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

Hi, I just had a call from my dealer that my PCM has been replaced and after some tests they don't have the issue. We know that it's not the case and I can see that there are in private mode now so it's not the same as when I'll drive it. I will ask which PCM version was installed but I'm...

EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

The mechanic's chief told me that I they have already 3 Taycan with the same problem for the moment. We’ll see after the holidays that is just starting but I’m afraid, and at the same time hope, that there will be a lot more arriving with this issue. Porsche AG told them that they are sending...

EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

As expected, they just upgraded to 3885 and said that they cleared the cache. I drove a bit with a destination Ionity at 250 km and it crashed after 5 min. U-turn, gave them back the car. Another thing that they saw is that I'm nearly out of warranty and was not warned so they will first extend...

EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

+ 1000000 Yes, I would be way happier. Even just a button to let us precondition ourselves and let ABRP or any other one to check our % at destination. My car is at the dealer now. They say they are upgrading the PCM and clearing the cache. I will report back what is done when they have finished.

It’s crashing still to do just 15 min drive to the office when I normally don’t use the pcm navigation but I had to try

EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

Thank you all. As usual this forum is the best. I'm on PCM version 3882 as well. There is a navigation pack VO3959817PH_P1480_EU_2026.01 As I didn't have any problems before while doing a lot of trips and I see this 202601, maybe one of the latest update is not correct and brings me the same...

EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

Hi all, I was not following this thread completely as I didn't had the issue. But I'm back from a short ski trip and the navigation gave us a hard time but not exactly the same problem as the OP. The navigation would work for a while and then I would receive a message saying charging the map as...

    Is Battery Preconditioning Really Necessary?

In a 2025 model, maybe not. In an older model, if like me you want to keep your stops at a max of 18min, then yes. I still wonder why we can’t use both nav at the same time. I would pay to have Waze working in CarPlay at the same time as the Porsche nav to know at which % I will arrive. it did...

    Porsche Taycan never again

26 months old? It should still be under warranty. When did you buy your car and was it new? And which Porsche center is it?

What would you like to see in a Taycan refresh (SSP Sport / J2)

Come on Chun, try to make some sense from time to time. How much did you pay your smartphone compared to the price of the wholesale price of the materials?

What would you like to see in a Taycan refresh (SSP Sport / J2)

I agree with Chun Rimac solid state battery of 100kwh that can charge in 6,5 minutes and weight less and is smaller. So lighter car, most space for the back feet or if we can slide the feet under the front seat, same look as now and off course better software with one big cpu that can be updated...
