    Taycan steering feel

When I first drove my TurboS, I didn’t like the steering. It’s too light for my liking but I’ve become used to it I guess.. you can feel the car but not in the same way as a more mechanical experience.

Plaid beats Taycan Turbo by 11 seconds around ring... will Porsche respond?

The Tesla is also not limited to circa 160mph so being able to travel faster will make a huge difference over that length so obviously the Tesla is faster.

    Overheating brakes (Ceramic)

Hi All, I have a Taycan TurboS. During a drive yesterday, I noticed loss of braking (not completely but very reduced) coupled with a smell of burning in the cabin. The pic attached is the error message, does anyone know why this might have occurred? Yes, I was pressing on for sure and relatively...

    Help with charging

Yes, car collected and taken to Porsche dealer last Tuesday. Apparently it’s the main charging component in the front of the car (sorry the info isn’t too detailed) which for whatever reason has blown. Anyway, the coolant needs draining and the part is coming from Germany.

    Help with charging

Same thing, just white flashing light and spinning on the taycan screen and ultimately the red light.

Second thoughts – moving back to ICE

I do certainly agree with there being something missing. But the Taycan can still feel brilliant on the B roads. I do miss the noise and vibration too.. But the original post also mentioned 'weight' which I just don't think applies to the feel unless you're at 85%+ on track I guess.,

    Help with charging

Hi All, I've done 1600miles in the Taycan with no issue. I have an Anderson home charger and noticed the charging had stopped at 66% because the fuse on the house had blown (the one for the EV). I reset the fuse, green light on the charging unit so all looks good, However, when I plug in the...

Second thoughts – moving back to ICE

The Taycan is too heavy? I'm sorry but you must be pushing very hard on the road to notice the weight. I'd say up to 85%, the Taycan is just planted. The weight is low down so cannot be compared to an ICE. The steering and feel has been done so well.

    Traction control

Hi All, just wondered if anyone has tried to turn traction control off when driving the Taycan in a 'spirited' way? I clearly wouldn't recommend turning traction off under normal circumstances (public road) but I found the car feels way better. I noticed the car trying to really interfere in the...

Low ride height of the Taycan / ground clearance?

Good advice about firming up the suspension when driving 'swiftly'. I'll try that but has anyone noticed any scrapes? I think it's always the protruding air vents at the front. I guess they can be replaced but looks like mine may have touched down on occasion.

Low ride height of the Taycan / ground clearance?

Hi All, Interested in your thoughts on ground clearance for the Taycan? I drive a Turbo S and have noticed the protruding air vents underneath the car often scrape when driving B roads. If there's too much undulation on the road, they'll scrape. I also feel as if the car is just going to scrape...
