I have a MY20 Taycan 4S and the high-voltage battery error popped up in Dec 2022, I just got it back this week. The car has a 2-year warranty when I purchased it and it covers the cost for this repair (at least USD 10k). The warranty extension cost is USD 2k/year here but I guess I'm going to...
My car got this error message in red and was already towed to service for a month. The technician told me they had created the job for "REMOVE & REPLACE BATTERY MODULE" (with one of the product codes 9J1915592C) but it's out of stock and expected to be delivered in March/April...
What happened...
I'm wondering is it with the new updated system because my dealer said the upcoming update for the system does not only fixing bugs but a whole upgrade of the car.
Indeed. A basic battery pack is more than enough for a long day drive ~100km in such a small place like HK. Also, the battery plus option cost nearly USD$15,000 in HK, which I can pay for public parking 7kWh/ 11kWh charger for 3800 hours.
Is it the range with the battery plus version? I did not get the plus version (dealer's car and it is not necessary to have a higher range package for Hong Kong) and get 402km at fully charged.
