Reviews and real pictures on the lockable cross-bars?

DON'T GET THE PORSCHE BARS! At least that's my recommendation. The quality is garbage compared to other ones that Thule makes as OEM. Super flimsy parts and bad clip design on some (or all?) I'm trying to get my returned as they damaged my roof rails. There is at least one other thread...

Thule bars compatibility with Cross Turismo

This looks like Thule's French Polynesia site. When I look at the US site, it still shows nothing unavailable for US market?

    Saw My First Cross Turismo

Didn't see any other CTs in my area for months so felt a little special, but then one week 2 Neptune Blue CTs showed up in my office parking lot. Guess it's time to start my search for something more unique... ?

    CT4 fast enough?

Looks like a minority opinion but I really regret getting the CT4 instead of CT4S and would happily pay the difference now to upgrade. I took a chance when ordering, taking one of the first build slots for the dealer without getting an opportunity to drive one since there were none in the US...

Anyone got the Porsche roof bars and box?

Perhaps you can check with your dealer if they have experienced this before or if they know of a better way to install that may prevent this?

Anyone got the Porsche roof bars and box?

The other day I noticed that my driver side roof rail has more than a couple of nicks- there is actually a ding in the rail about an inch long with the nicks in the center of it. I didn’t go beyond the torque setting on the tool that comes with the set. All of this happened from a single test...

Anyone got the Porsche roof bars and box?

Not sure if it will happen to everyone, but it's probably very likely with this design. This is what I believe the issue is. First of all, the outer clamps on the bars have barely any coating on the metal so it's a pretty hard part contacting the rail. They are meant to tighten inwards...

Thule racks now available for Cross Turismo with rails

OEM CT bars do sit quite high. I don't like the appearance of them (or the quality) but they will work better for me when I carry things like surfboards in bags that are a little loose and can flap against the glass roof in the wind. People only using a cargo box or a bike/ski rack might...

Anyone got the Porsche roof bars and box?

The CT OEM bars DO index into those holes on the inside of the rails, but the outer bracket that clamps down has a lot of positional tolerance so it can cause dings in multiple spots in that area on the outer rail when tightened down.

Anyone got the Porsche roof bars and box?

I installed mine following the directions and damaged rails on both sides as well. I was surprised how cheaply made these were. The covers are pretty flimsy and are barely attached to a bent metal hook. Two of mine kept popping off during installation. The factory rails for my Golf Alltrack...

CT alarm issue, how common is it?

My dealer wasn't familiar with it as I got one of their first CT orders, but after a diagnosis, they have ordered a new headliner (which they said includes the interior sensor) and I'm just waiting for it to arrive to get it swapped out. In the meantime, I just disable the interior monitoring...

Has anyone put wheel spacers on their CT yet?

Thank you! Color is Chalk. In direct sunlight photos, it almost appears white but in the shade it definitely looks warm grey. I didn't have immediate plans to lower suspension as I live in an extremely hilly city, but it does feel a little high even at the lowest setting that I have it at in...

Has anyone put wheel spacers on their CT yet?

Thanks! Didn't look into Porsche options as they didn't appear to have anything specific for the Taycan. I typically use H&R spacers but I gave the ECS ones a try this time around. They made it really easy with the test kit and I'm just using this car as a commuter and occasional surfboard...

Has anyone put wheel spacers on their CT yet?

Here is my CT wheel spacer update. The goal for me was to keep the car looking stock and aligned with the design intent but getting rid of the tucked in look that the wheels had from the factory. After some testing, I found that the magic number for my Cross Turismo with the 20" Offroad Design...

Has anyone put wheel spacers on their CT yet?

Well, I guess no one has done this on their CT yet.... For general reference, I measured the wheel arch cladding thickness when I removed the front side indicators and it was about 3mm proud of the painted body surface. I have the 20" Off Road Design wheels and initially, it appears the the...

    4s Cross Turismo Problems

My CT4 has both the interior alarm being triggered at random times and I have been getting a "Front right indicator faulty" error despite it appearing to function normally. I have an appointment to address the alarm and I just put in clear side markers today so I'll see if the indicator error...

    CHALK Taycan Club

Thanks! The wheels are a Cross Turismo specific model called 20” Off-Road Design. Looks to be inspired by a Lamborghini Urus wheel option?

    Real acceleration on CT4

I have to agree that the CT4 doesn’t feel especially quick accelerating at speed. I haven’t tried launch control yet but I’m sure the extra power from that is decent. I transitioned from a 500+hp twin turbo V8 that was much faster. I’m actually a bit disappointed in the CT4 acceleration for...

Has anyone put wheel spacers on their CT yet?

I have seen some photo references on sedans but was wondering if the CT would want a few mm extra due to the wheel arch cladding? 15mm front/10~12mm rear seemed to work well for some of the OEM wheel sets on the sedan. Please share photos if you have any. Thanks!
