PNW Taycan Meetup: Big Four Ice Caves Day Trip - 9/6/25

I think a more spacious starting location would help a lot. Instead of starting the drive from street parking, starting at a parking lot instead, and maybe have that starting point be a little bit out of the bigger cities. And +1 for CB or walkie talkie. No need for smartphone fiddling that...

PNW Taycan Meetup: Big Four Ice Caves Day Trip - 9/6/25

Gotcha. I didn't have the exact route in my nav and that's what really fucked me. Oh well. Hope you all have fun!

PNW Taycan Meetup: Big Four Ice Caves Day Trip - 9/6/25

Well I IMMEDIATELY lost the group and then got lost trying to get back to the route, so there's no way I'm gonna catch up. Bailing out on this one, sorry, I just don't have the time today for any delays since I gotta be back home around noon Lead cars y'all should have waited for the rest of...

PNW Taycan Meetup: Big Four Ice Caves Day Trip - 9/6/25

If it's possible to do Sep 13 or Sep 27 instead, I would love to make it out for this, especially since I had to miss the Woodinville meetup a few weeks ago. I absolutely cannot do 9/6, I have a really important appointment at home that day from 1pm to 2pm

    PNW Taycan Meetup

Probably not making it out for this, got injured this morning and waiting in urgent care for them to finish up :< I was really looking forward to this too. Sorry I couldn't make it

    PNW Taycan Meetup

Hell yeah! I can do: 6/28-29, 8/9-10, 8/16-17, 8/23-24 I'd be down for a group drive too! Tje drive up to Spada Lake is a lot of fun if you don't mind a little gravel. Or up Mt Baker is a lot of fun. Or even just a lap around Mercer Island can be a lot of fun!

Have you taken your cross turismo off road?

They only offer front bumper protection for Taycan. Not really much of a skid plate if you ask me.

New 2025 taycan lost grip - 4 wheel slide

Please don't push your big heavy car on summer tires when it's cold and wet. Your confidence could get someone hurt. Doesn't matter how a different car on different tires performed, you've just witnessed firsthand the limits of grip in those conditions in that configuration. Maybe your past...

Have you taken your cross turismo off road?

Definitely not truly off-road, but I've been very eager to get it on gravel or grass, and every time I get to actually use gravel mode it'a been an absolute delight.

    Chronically unreliable. Suggestions?

I have had zero mechanical issues, a few infotainment bugs, never anything critical. Mine has been rock solid apart from dumb software. Dunno about the lawd over there but in the US that should be an easy lemon law case to force them to buy the car back from you, or replace it, at your option...

Tips & tricks for managing audio / music files on USB

Does anyone else experience this "Track List Not Available" error when trying to list music on a USB drive? I'm trying for the third time to get Porsche to try to do something about this, it's pretty inexcusable for a $6000 sound system, and I'm REALLY hoping I'm not the only one who has this...

    PNW Washington taycan owners

Playing through Pacific Drive recently has me wanting some faux wood panels for the sides of my CT! Anyone else play that awesome game yet??

    Taycan re-sale issues

Jeez, that's like 1000 km daily commute, what do you do that makes that commute worthwhile?

So are 'new' Turbo S Taycans essentially unsalable at present?

I charge for $0.044 per kwh at home, and 99% of my charging occurs at home. While a lot of people don't have the luxury of charging at home (apartment, condo, etc), the ones who do will not be using public DC chargers more than very, very, very occasionally, so this entire point seems baseless...

    Wagon (ST) Rear Stays Dirty

Ours seems to, but honestly it looks good dirty.

🚨 2025 Taycan Officially Revealed! Specs, Wallpaper Photos, Videos & US Pricing

Looks REALLY good, except I really hate that you HAVE to get the "Pepita" seats if you want a leather-free interior. Not my style at ALL. Also the fake vents are just tacky. If they're not gonna be functional as vents, figure out another way to style them, damnit. Can't see myself upgrading...

Has the Taycan market bottomed out? Tried to get offers as I might pursue a Macan

Why an SUV when you already have the perfect wagon?

    Poll

I don't see any other car on the market I'd want to have as my daily, and I don't expect there to be a single BEV wagon on sale in the USA other than Taycan CT/ST. Seems new EVs are mostly SUVs, and I already learned from two days of having an R1S that I'm very much a "wagon guy". That, and...
