278 opening range, 32 mile drive (15 "A" roads, 12 M4/M32 and 5 mile through Bristol) and 3.6m/kwh consumption with a remaining range of 250 miles.
Air con was off
and it's a 5 year old Turbo with 53k miles
Yes - I have a 2020 Turbo and in the last few weeks, I've also seen a range approaching 280 miles with the remaining range after a journey also verifying the 280
I've had my 2020 Turbo saloon for 20 months now. Charged up yesterday, ambient temp approx 23C day and 17C night. Showed a range of 276 (I did turn the AC off)
Went on my normal commute to Bristol of 32 miles - mix of A roads and 10 miles M4, 5 miles M32. Whilst not spiritedly driving - who can...
My 2020 Taycan went for it's yearly MOT at OPC yesterday and came back with this and the OPC never actually mentioned it...although there's small small icons under each tyre which I don't understand what they mean
Re your last comment, I think potential purchases of a Gen 1 taycan will be very wary now - they won't necessarily understand the nuances between ARB6 and ARB7 and Porsche retailers will cover themselves by making low-ball offers if indeed they're interested in taking Gen 1 stock.
WBAC text me...
Totally agree with all of this. So much so that I’m swapping our Macan GTS for a Macan EV 4s so we will be totally EV from now on. Have got a little Clio RS172 as a project car for fun
Just collected my Taycan from having the brake hose recall. Found one of the cooling fans was stuck - £2-£3k job (but under warranty thankfully) apparently as Porsche recommend changing both
My car is going in for the brake hose recall on Monday. Service called me yesterday to check on a couple of things so I asked him about ARB6 & 7 - they’re going to do a health check on the battery and report to Porsche…so that’s ARB6?
I should be expected to be told to only charge to 80%...
My brakes are spongy too...the OPC did a software update a while ago that seemed to fix it but they've regressed again. It's in for the brake hose recall next week so hopefully will be resolved.
My Macan GTS with the PSCB is lights ahead in the confidence you get from the brakes...my Taycan...
I was at my Porsche centre today and was talking about this issue. Now, I’d never heard of this until @Maelstrom started this thread…but Porsche centres are well aware of the issue. They even put taycans fresh from Germany on the ramp and specifically inspect them for dinks…so as not to be...
This demo is discounted by £21k too. It's not available for a couple of months so we'll see what they do to the price

My local OPC has a lovely Turbo CT, 6 months old, 2300 miles, £87k - apparently part-ex as part of a deal to get a Spyder - that's some hit taken in 6 months...must have been list of £130k
So, I enquired to part-ex my 2020 Turbo - they offered me £4k more than my GFV on the PCP which runs...
The UK infastructure has significantly improved. Not sure the profile of your 8k miles pa and/or whether you can charge at home. However, I now do a 500 mile round trip quite regulary and charging, at high speed, is not a problem
