Best Mod I've seen, well done. Still limping mine along and cleaning out every couple of months in the winter (uk mudfest ) but now outer ring of the fan blade is rubbing on the ext housing and the bearing rock so these are now spent after almost 4 yrs / 33k miles. Worst design I've seen. ....so...
Ahhh yes, thanks and apologies to all. I was too busy driving and enjoying my free from troubles 4 yr old CT4ST to notice the thread. I think they are so awesome, its not tried to kill me or fry me so we are still in love.
Am I the only person to see this ? Is this just the UK ?
If this is true, there will be yet more huge claims, increased damage to used values and dive bombing of the UK ev market.
If its not true, then I've been suckered.
Best answer so far ? So as I said, loaded her with crockery, tools, luggage for 4 weeks incl porker roof box full of wife’s shizzel for a villa…then hammered it to Spain. Sometimes I heard it, 99% of the time I didn’t. Heading back on Sunday with the intention of changing my almost 3 year old...
Thanks for that. Hardly inspirational from Porsche ! So, I thought I would go down the road of precise wheel balancing and maybe new tyres etc then I thought fook it, I’ll follow Range Rover dealer comment of “bring it back when it gets really loud ….. so I’ve just driven to Spain with wife...
Thanks for the info review ....I'll be having another 3 yrs of warranty in August as updates should be worthy of a justifiable price hike ...this is now a + £100,400.00 MRP car in bog standard 4SCT in the UK !! .....so off to Spain again to rack up some more miles but with a sports roof box this...
CYCLE CARRIER - CT4s - 2.5 yrs on and I need to take 2 or 3 bikes to Spain BUT didn’t tick the crazy OM bike rack / scaffold creation for £2.5k so has anyone had success with a Saris or other hatch rack? Taking a roof box so not room up top. Anyone??
TCT4S 24000m ( Sept '21 ) Just struggling with this one - I have a slight vibration creating a low volume deep bass inside the car when accelerating hard in normal / Sport / Sport +
It appeared a 2 months ago when on 20in Winters which have just been swapped for newly balanced 21in alloy/ tyre...
Already done the ''willy swinging plate when the 4S was new back in '21' but all too recognisable when hooning around the place. I find this to be THE best UK sourced private reg out there ;-/
Agree, in hindsight, contract hire /monthly may have been the better route. I bought outright, claimed the VAT ( 20% tax ) and Company corp tax at 130% post covid so it probably stands on the books at less than half what I paid. I don't really care, awesome, exciting, practical car and with the...
Oh boy, i hate bad EV news....It used to be called a Friday afternoon car in the good old days of British Layland & drinking at work was acceptable, not PC now, shame :-)
I guess they made many "Tincans" on a Friday HOWEVER....I absolutely love my VERY reliable CT4S of October 21 vintage, 20k...
Oh dear, Leicester Porsche breaks cover out of desperation ? . The headline devalues the brand when really only a fool would take 4 yrs, 5000m at 11.3% apr and a £60k balloon and no final guaranteed value! Same on you Leicester Porsche.
Apart from not been able to see any instrumentation, listen to music etc, not sure if it affects the PSAM gyros and other safety features, I wouldn’t like to test it hence pull over and restart. 2nd time this has happened in 20k miles so not stressing.
Yep, on route to Porsche to have winter alloy swap, PCM bombed mid drive. Had to pull in, turn car off and on before PCM fired back up. Service reception said there was a recall and a very recent software update to do. I didn't have time so will attend to that another time. More updates than an...
But sticky rubber and drive the 4S like you stole it, even in the UK wet ( can't do that in a TS ) - save 1yr warranty, £30k - £40k min, plus a HUGE load of depreciation, go 40m further on a charge, The TSCT could be a pup in hiding re reliability issues on heaters / 12v battery drain...
Mine arrived in March 23, I was one week before collection, fortunately, I only put a much smaller deposit down due to the fact ( maybe that ) I am a previous CT purchaser, I had the same thoughts, far more expensive car crashing even more cash is not my idea of fun. Keeping the CT4S (20,000m )...
Only person I personally know who lost one was when he left it at the airport meet and greet, Manchester! ….they said it went from their secure yard…with the keys. Note - wheels are £5k min so best not leave it for too long on a street me thinks
