You can get for $1000 - $1500k per year. Mileage drives up the cost over time. Where are you located? Still under factory? I just extended mine to 10y total 100k miles and if you are still under factory any dealer can do it with just some paperwork. Some people just go to 8y to match the...
I also see electrical tape wrapped around the plug? That looks sloppy to me. Should install with no additional items and def an industrial plug. I replaced my neighbors as his was tripping once in a while and when I went to look at it it was all white and heat cycled - tesla charger.
Doing things for shareholders will always ruin a company.. it’s simple - money is the result, not the reason! We need to get back to capitalism and doing great things.
Maybe dealer policy which is good for business… but that is it. If people say their tires wear fast and they replace at 60% then there are other issues :)
Only 60%? Why would they even offer replacement? Isn’t that a waste? The manufacturer builds them to perform to an acceptable performance level until they hit the wear bars. I follow the wear bars - that is why they are there!
ill just need to go stomp on the brakes and then smell them to confirm :) the smell test is actually how i measure that i got proper heat into my other cars brakes :P
I also wish there was a button to go fully mechanical brakes - so you can properly get some heat through them to bed them in - that will help with the noise and overall perf.
I would clean them and measure.. i personally hate throwing away things that are not fully used. I also wish they used a design where you can pull the pads out without pulling the caliper - my 993 is so easy to service with the open caliper design at the top.
Are you replacing because of time/mileage or wear? I measure mine and the pad light is there to tell you when they are low. You can also clean them vs just replacing everything.
