It was user error. I just was using the 1Up "security" nut sleeve and only a flat washer. Been using that way since you first came out with the bars. I am so lucky that I did not total my bike. I will make sure using the 3 carriage bolts on each side that it will not happen again.

Got mine working again. Went to Apple Maps, registered car & made sure SOC in the app matched the actual SOC of the vehicle. When it was not working the Apple Map app was showing a lower SOC than the vehicle.
