We have 3 Taycans. 1 SS 2020 and 2 CT’s (2023 and 2024). They all have the same issue, unfortunately.
Porsche sold a concept that were supposed to handle OTA updates and thereby also futureproof to some degree.
The PCM is bad. I’ve had several cars with MMIs that is both quick and functioning...
I have the exact same problem and it started when BMS surveillance SW were implemented. This is what I feared would happen. I’ve seen similar issues with computers and phones.
Bottom line, we paid serious money for a car that has the hardware of a 10 year old computer. What’s worse is that even...
Connect is so far a complete waste of money. We have a CT4 and a SS4. I’ve driven without it in my 4S for about 6 months and don’t miss it. Also Connect makes the PCM slower somehow…
Hi! :D
Iv’e owned my Taycan for almost 1,5 years now. I’ve driven 25.000km in it and I love the car.
But recently I’ve noticed that my car makes splash noises when I hit the gas, brake or take a sharp turn.
My dealer isn’t close, so I’m just curious to know if anyone have noticed the same...
Not much brake dust at all. Surprisingly brake pads and disc almost doesn’t show signs of wear at all.
I believe when you do a full stop it’s on the brakes (hold). Like waiting for green light or intersection. But when driving and you push the brake pedal it brakes with the motors.
Porsche...
No visible brake dust. Car brakes up to 3G on the motors. I’ve had zero problems with visible brake dust, only issue is dust and dirt from road or other cars :P
No clearance problem. I’ve even seen Porsche driving with mission E on track with standard brakes.
I have Mission E on my 4S standard brakes, and after 10.000km there’s no issues with brakes or caliper clearance.
Yep, that sums it up pretty well ?. Luggage/rear boot is similar to the CT as well. Only thing I don’t know for sure is if the Taycan ST will get the top spoiler or not (like the Panamera).
It’s a mean looking wagon. But for me the Sport Saloon will always look better.
Yup. Sport Turismo is on its way. They’re doing the last parts of testing nowadays. Only thing that could delay ST is the lack of materials (bottleneck of production). Also there’s a lot of CT and Sport Saloon orders which already took the production capacity.
Ive seen the sport Turismo in...
Ive seen a lot of videos and articles about the PCM 6.0. It seems a lot like what the Taycan already have. I found this on the Porsche newsroom page. Seems the PCM 6.0 they’re speaking of might be for fossil cars?
I believe I’ve seen another version of the PCM software just a few days ago. I was lucky to see the new Taycan Sport Turismo (both inside and outside) in a Turbo S version (It’s camouflaged ofc.). The menu was colored. With navigation icon the arrow being green, the music icon was red...
I’m also curious about this. My car was delivered on winter tires, and so my car was set to Turbo aero wheels.
Now I’m on Mission E wheels and wonder if they could change.
Are there any reasons for waiting for the 2022 model? I have both a MY20 and MY21 and the difference isn’t noticeable in any way after my MY20 got the SW update. Both my cars are Jet Black, and they have the same options (HUD on the MY21, but I don’t like what they did to the dash to fit the...
I’m used to having the soundproofing foam in my tires. I’m actually considering changing to Goodyear Eagle F1 with Soundcomfort tech.
