I have a place in Truckee, North Lake Tahoe where we store the winter tires : )
In honesty the car is a little low for winter driving, as the berm at the bottom of our drive reminds me each time it snows more than 6", but I really do enjoy driving the car in all conditions on all days.
I wanted to provide at one counter argument. I"ve done over 50,000 miles over 4 years in my 2021 CT and only been to the dealer to get the recall updates done. Yes the screen has gone blank a couple of times a year but really I can't believe that a car this complicated has been so flawless.
It...
Well spotted. Two trips, separated by a stop in Tahoe where I switched from the winter wheels and tires to summers. There was snow on the ground one way and 100+ degrees by the time we rolled back through.
Highly recommend the 395 drive along the Eastern Sierras if you are ever in the area.
Just passed 45k in 3 years with zero issues. I've scratched up the front underbody protection, had my rims repaired twice and been through 3 sets of tires but otherwise it has been perfect. The PPF has some wear but I'm pleased it is there to take the damage. Most pleasingly I still get the same...
Dropped my car off for a service and checked out the FBM sample in real life. I like it. Just specced my wife's Macan EV in FBM with Bordeaux Black interior.
yeah you’re probably right. I had assumed they wouldn’t bring any PTS colors to the test drives but then I realized that the yellow is not a stock color either.
Ah thank you. I’m not a dog owner so this has never occurred to me as something I needed but I least I can stop poking my fingers in there imagining why on earth it exists.
I'd already decided that I was keeping my Gen 1 Mamba Green until it becomes a collectors item so I'm happy that they made a leap in efficiency and range but since I don't road trip that often I can wait until the generation with solid state batteries comes. Garage does have an empty spot for a...
i bought the large. The fit front to back is good but things like the wing mirror pockets aren’t perfect. I only use it when I’m heading away for more than a couple of weeks so it’s fine for what I need but if you want a perfect fit the ST cover might be better.
I managed 10k miles on the original summer tires and then had to admit that it was dangerous to keep driving. I was shocked how easily they wore out but it was a fun first 10,000 miles. It’ll be interesting to see if my driving mellows and the tires last a little longer now.
My range is now back up where it used to be before the uPdate. I think the reason it went down might be linked to the 58 miles it drove when it was with the dealer. Pleased to see that they put it through some high speed testing at least ?
Plug and Charge worked well before uPdate but after EA stations wouldn't recognize the car.
This simple fix worked for me.
