I just came from an EA charging station. Used my Plug and Charge option and everything performed flawlessly.

I charge to 80-85% unless I'm going on a long trip. They I do 100%.

When I first picked up my 4S a 100% charge gave me 192 miles. It eventually increased to 286. Just give it some time.

I use Plug and Charge at EA all the time. No cellphone required.

Just to break up all the white I added the electric and Taycan 4S badges to the front doors. Also wrapped the roof and door handles in gloss black.

I have never used the wireless charger in my 4S. My phone is 100% charged every morning and last all day until I charge overnight again.

I consistently get a range of 250 to 260 on my 4S in normal mode and 270 to 280 in range mode and that's with the standard battery.

I would definitely show it to your dealer.

I've owned my 4S since last June and have experienced some minor glitches but nothing that has caused to me bring my Taycan in for service. The one continuous issues is my steering wheel will not rise up when I shut the car off and exit. My seat moves back but the steering wheel stays in place...

I had the same choice and choose the 4S with the standard batter rather than the standard Taycan with the battery plus option. No regrets whatsoever. I'm getting between 260 to 270 in range with the standard battery which is plenty for me.

If you don't rely on what salespeople say that's your prerogative. I've know mine for a decade and he happened to be a friend so yes I rely on what he says. BTW the plug and charge is working again. Just charged with no issues.
