Just got the car back from the dealership. In my case, the problem was an AC pressure sensor (PT1) that is known to have problems. They replaced that and also two additional sensors (PT2, PT3) that they said had "outdated part numbers" (meaning they were known to have problems, but hadn't been...
Same for me. Oddly, after the software update I am occasionally getting the "electrical system error: service necessary" warning, but if I turn it off and on again it goes away. Still, I have an appointment with my dealership next Tuesday so hopefully I will know more at that point. They did...
Great question. I just went and checked and it looks like the answer is no. On the upper screen it the precool/heat is set to off (see image ... sorry for the rotation) and it cannot be activated. To the right (which didn't get full captured in the image) it says that there is a systems error. I...
Happy Holidays, everyone!
So, I recently took my TT in for a couple of software updates, but now my remote climate control function with the MyPorsche app doesn't work -- the button just spins (see screenshot). I've reinstalled the app (didn't fix it), I've reached out to my person at the...
I went with dolomite silver and really love how it looks. But I can see why folks love Mamba - it is gorgeous. Still, I love the way DS looks, but maybe I’m just boring. Really can’t go wrong in my opinion.
That’s where I landed. I really enjoy the Turbo. I used launch control a lot early on, and will still do it when I take new folks in the car, but I don’t use it enough to justify the price jump.
I live just outside of Boston. My TT has 21” Contis and I just ordered 20” sport aero winter tires. After reading up on it, it seems clear that the torque and weight combo would make for difficult driving on ice and snow. Having them swapped next week.
+1 to what Derek said. I wouldn’t trade my Taycan for anything, but my wife’s Tesla is superior in terms of software and auto pilot features. But I’ll take the build quality and driving experience and hope for increasingly better software and assist features.
Yeah, it’s funny. That’s exactly how I felt about the TT vs TTS. However, I could imagine someone who had the TTS saying the same thing about the TT. So finding your personal sweet spot is everything. You can’t really go wrong with any of the variants. Great cars!
I have a turbo and I love it. When I brought it in for the recall the dealer gave me a 4S. It was obviously slower, but I was surprised how noticeably slower it felt. I feel like if I had gone with the 4S from the start I would be happy with it, but now there is no way I could go back. So if...
I am surprisingly satisfied with the Bose implementation in the Taycan. As others have said, the base version is terrible. I had it in my Cayenne and it was the worse sound system I’ve ever had.
I was able to test the Burmester prior to going with Bose. It’s definitely better. But for me it was...
I have it on my Turbo. I didn’t realize how much it helped with heat until today. I dropped my car off for the recall and they gave me a 4s without insulated glass, and it was noticeably hotter (and it was only 80 outside).
But from a noise perspective I didn’t notice much of a difference...
