I have a 20 foot extension for my TESLA and did not make any difference. Bought the heavy duty cord and plug combo on a site that sells extensions for such things as welding equipment. No problem in over three years of use.
For sure, the car will not become more valuable because it is a launch car. I have bought launch cars before and they never appreciate or depreciate any different then production vehicles. My guess if that six months after cars arrive, your will see Taycan discounted by dealers to get them off...
Just cancelled my order and am tired of calling and getting updates that are changed frequently. Put deposit in almost two years ago and don't want to receive a 2020 car that will depreciate 35 k the first year and be delivered in the fourth quarter if I am lucky.
Sorry to say that I cancelled my Turbo order and getting back my deposit because I don't have any confidence in the delivery schedule which is a moving target. This is very frustrating as I have had a deposit in for almost 2 years. Hope everyone else has a better experience.
You are welcome anytime! Fascinating watching you do the loop in the Taycan. Will send you pics when mine arrives! Be safe and keep us up to date going north.

Very interesting since I am 5'8" and 145 lbs and got in and out of the Taycan demo over here and was having the same problem. In fact, I had second thoughts about taking delivery because the back seat was so small as well and some of our friends would have trouble with that small entrance as...
Understand....I sold my Aston Martin wanted something different and got the TESLA but after three years got tired of it and was dissapointed in the fit and finish. One last question....did you like the TAYCAN and was he still in love with the car ?
We have a new owner of the dealership here and they give me a car when I take in the Cayenne but I have never asked them to flatbed back and forth. I am sure the "drivers" who pick up the Taycan's for service will really have a thrill ride back to the dealership. I know Champion because my...
Sounds like the plan is to insure that all glitches are handled at the dealer. Maybe they will agree to pick my car up everytime it needs an update! Thanks for the info......
Guys,
As a former TESLA owner, I appreciated the option of updates based on the contents. For me, it is a 40 minute drive to the PORSCHE dealer and isfI have to drive there every time there is an update, that is a killer. My car has finished production and I am very concerned about this issue...
Don’t know but TESLA of course does them which was actually fun to open the next day. Sure hope PORSCHE does not force us to go to dealer. I just got a recall on my Cayenne for a software update but MUST go to the dealer which should not be necessary in this day and age.
Our house is open but my car now not here till 4/24.
Love your pics and comments- have a safe trip back to Maine. If you are crossing Alligator Alley, you can recharge at my house just 5 minutes off 75.
