I'm about to take my snow tires off for the season and am contemplating buying a second set of wheels for summer tires. What do people recommend. I'd like them to look nice but not break the bank - 19" or 20".
I picked up a screw in my right rear tire a few years ago and wound up on the side of I-580 in Carson City with a flat. It was 20 degrees F and snowing. I followed the directions with the liquid sealant and all it did was help me find the hole - which is where the liquid came out.
I carry a...
After 4 months the problem is finally resolved. My dealer contacted me a few weeks ago telling me that the new software was available. The first appointment I could get was last Friday. I took the car in, they reprogrammed it, and now Homelink works the way it originally did. I have it set...
I have a kayak rack on Yakima round cross bars that I'd like to mount on my Taycan. The Taycan appears to have four hard points with 8mm female threads in the roof. Does anyone know if I can attach Yakima Skyline towers and Yakima landing pads - with 8mm bolts?
I got a call from the service manager at my dealer (Porsche Reno) and they have acknowledge the problem and are working with PCNA on a solution. Apparently the new Taycans have these buttons and they are updating our older car with the software for the new cars. I am waiting for them to come...
My car is a 22 Taycan S. They reprogrammed the PCM as part of one of the "recalls" for the 2 year service. I'm not sure how to bring up the version number.
I should clarify that if you press the three dots at the lower right side of the first homelink screen, it takes you to this screen:
However all of the options lead you back to the screen where you need to press button I.
@W1NGE There are no other options. You press the HomeLink button on the home screen and you get the screen offering to configure the three buttons. No other choices. I suspect this is a bug in the latest version of the PCM software.
That video shows how my PCM used to work - before Porsche reprogrammed it. The homelink button used to go to a screen that let you "Configure New Profile". Now the first homelink screen gives the option to configure button I, II, or III.
Starting from the new color home screen that makes it...
Porsche Reno just reprogrammed my Taycan and I can no longer setup Homelink to open my garage door. When I attempt to set up Homelink, it wants me to set up Button I, II, or III. Part of the process involves pressing I, II, or III. They Taycan has no such buttons.
Does anyone know how to...
I got a loaner Macan (not an equivalent vehicle) after about a week - when it was clear they were going to be keeping my car for a while. I have asked PCNA to extend my warranty to account for the time my car was out of service. I'm still waiting to hear back.
After nearly two months in the shop - awaiting a battery repair kit, and then awaiting a field-service rep to install it, I finally got my Taycan back last Thursday. So far so good.
I don't know what the lemon laws are in Texas. In Nevada, you would have the right to ask for a full refund after 30 days of non-operation.
In my case, I'd rather have a Taycan than a refund, but I'd like a Taycan that works reliably. My dealer is proposing to replace individual cells in the...
I really do like the Taycan, but I'm not sure I want *this* Taycan. I was very much looking forward to taking delivery, but between the tires and the electrical issue, in the month and a half since I took delivery I've been able to drive it exactly twice, and the second time it left me on the...
