I was going to try that -- car is currently in the shop due to a bad onboard charger (see another thread) so I was thinking a refresh and a PCM reboot prob would fix it.

For anybody interested, it was a bad onboard charger. My net suggestion is that if anything seems funky about charging, you need to do the legwork yourself and tell them what the problem is.
