  1. Heating Failure

Had my '22 Turbo booked for annual service later this week. Porsche West London just called to tell me that they have to reschedule for February.... and that they were postponing all service in the near term. When I asked why they said it was due to so many "recoveries" related to failed...
  2. What battery level you guys recommend charging and up to what max level ?

That’s like saying you shouldn’t ever red line your engine if you are leasing because of a future owner? Or you should keep mileage down?
  3. Has anyone noticed connectivity issues with Porsche Connect App in the UK

Thanks - yes same issue tonight. Started charging and went to app to see progress and not connecting. Can't connect via computer either to see Connect Services - so seems to be on their end.
  4. Heating Failure

I heard from Porsche West London yesterday. They said they had about 50 to fix… but the good news is that they finally have a new part coming (as they are seeing repeats). He thought another 1.5 weeks to fix. I asked about a recall and he wasn’t sure. Would seem it is inevitable.
  5. Heating Failure

Update: spoke w dealer. He said they had 17 in the shop (Porsche West London) with the same issue, and can’t get to my car for 2 weeks - at which point they hope they have the part. Seems Porsche is well aware of the issue but don’t have enough parts to do a recall), also 2021/2022 was milder so...
  6. Heating Failure

Heater just died. Was unable to charge as well - probably because it is so cold here? Dropped off at dealer yesterday but likely the same issue. Do we think this is related to the software update? Seems to be a recent spike…
  7. RWD - Rear Axle Steering or Massaging Seats?

RAS… it’s a big car. More of a necessity (which also helps high speed driving) vs an absurd luxury of massaging seats. I have the seats and they are amazing - but def not a necessity.
  8. Latest Taycan Software Update Findings and Reviews Thread

Thanks - much appreciated. Is the "new content" just the addition of the compass? I was secretly hoping for some Car Play content to be displayed...
  9. Recall for instrument panel reprograming

Got car back... nothing noticeable - but said it should fix the background errors that were causing the screen to disappear (which I have fortunately never had)... Dealer also had no new info on new updated PCM - wasn't sure if it was OTA (I have a '22) or when it would be ready...
  10. Don't miss the auto start/stop nor the turbo lag....

Taycan Turbo is in shop for some software updates (why can't they be OTA?!)... they gave me a nice Macan for a couple of days to use. I haven't driven a petrol Porsche in about 6 months and I forgot about two things which I definitely don't miss: Auto Start/Stop and Turbo Lag. Waiting for the...
  11. Recall for instrument panel reprograming

just had this update done... picking it up later today and will advise if anything noticeably different.
  12. 4S to Turbo - is it worth it?

I was about to buy a 4S but after adding in all the options the price wasn’t too far from the Turbo. There is a difference in power - and it really depends how much you like g forces. 4S is fast for sure - but coming from a 911 it felt a bit slow. No badge btw.
  13. Damage to Mission E Wheels

Posh Wash in Hyde Park car park does excellent wheel restoration. https://poshwash.london/
  14. Bose to Burmester

Disagree - burmester is great. I work in music and noticeable difference to Bose. Wish it could do atmos though. Subwoofer excellent. Pair with noise glass and it is great. Wouldn’t spend $15k to upgrade though!
  15. Turbo Order: Too many options?

I have a very similar build... the only thing I wish I had was Comfort Access...
  16. Your favourite Taycan option & why?

Tough call... either the Burmester + Acoustic Glass - or RWS (this car is easier to park than my 911)... The Smart Lift is pretty handy as well.
