This is seriously impressive. I got a Foonf thinking that maybe the center would have space but gave up.
Also props to getting two of them in the car, I feel like I'm going to give myself a hernia whenever I put one in... (Ended up getting a lighter seat for the other one)
Just snuck in under the wire for December delivery. Did PPF at the dealer so that delayed this for a week.
Doing ceramic tomorrow, so gonna be without it for a bit longer but it’s been 14 months since the deposit so what’s a couple more days…
my SA reached out with pictures but I just checked my TYD and it said arrived. (The first screen still says scheduled for production but I guess that’s a different issue…)
But as @poppap mentioned I’m 2023 so maybe that makes a difference?
Mine just arrived at the dealer (RWC). Doesn’t seem like proximity to Benecia mattered as much as number of cars, maybe Fremont is similarly delayed.
Going through PDI, but no known stop sales (Bose here).
Contacted my SA today, he said they were expecting a large shipment this week (potentially early in the week), so hopefully a light at the end of the tunnel!
Unfortunately not. TYD says 0 days until delivery but still hasn’t changed stages away from Port Processing (which is marked as completed). Hoping for tomorrow, though…
Mine also says estimated 12/9 (up from 12/16). Port processing is marked complete (12/3), and current step is en route!
hopefully this won't surprise my dealer since I've been asking them about PPF and it sort of sounds like they've been assuming 12/16 arrival...
Thanks for all of the research from you two! I had no idea how to figure out when it would cross and there were a worrying large number of ships anchored on the Atlantic side of the canal.
Mine arrived in Emden on 11/3 and ETA is pushed out to 12/16. Just in case anyone wondered why mine would arrive sooner even though it's on the same boat :)
Dealer is Redwood City.
(feels like I'm stalking you now since we keep comparing builds...)
My 4CT also has black roof rails and was on time even though it looks like we started at very similar times. Here's the code in case you wanted to compare: PPP1KQB0.
If they're similar, sorry for taking the last Bose + roof...
Stella has left Bremerhaven and is en route to the Panama Canal. It was only in Bremerhaven for less than a day, but maybe our cars will have some BMW buddies on the journey over.
(I've been waiting 13 months so far so I may have gotten a bit obsessive...)
I've got a 4CT that began production around 10/20 and completed 10/28. I had options that made me worry (Bose, night vision) but all seemed fine. Do you have typical options?
I know the dates are all made up but it's funny to me that the car would be released on 12/16 in Benicia and magically make it to Bellevue the same day.
But so long it doesn't Felicity Ace should be good news before the holidays!
Same is true for me! The schedule says Stella due in Bremerhaven on 11/7 so it seems like they pushed back how long it'd stay at Emden. Benicia is 11/29.
It is still possible to see the estimated dates on the desktop web version of TYD - the mobile web version was blocking completed dates.
My delivery has been pushed out but I think that's because the "on vessel" date was 11/4 and it's past that now in Germany. But the Glovis Stella is still...
Placed a deposit in October 2021 for a CT 4S, or so I thought.
I gave up hope of getting one anytime soon but I finally got an email in early July that I got an allocation! The previously configured build code the advisor sent me wasn’t familiar, and after some digging I realized it was a 4CT...
Oops, bad at reading!
I've been weighing the "should I put down another deposit" and I guess I'd probably echo what everyone else here is suggesting, which is it could be worth it if you're targeting a dealer somewhere else and shelling out for delivery (or PEC which sounds cool!)
The waitlist...
