Thanks everyone- I just answered my own question. I have forever been complaining about the center/passenger consoles spinning and got the 'recall' notice this past week for ANA6. The dealer wasn't sure if ANA6 was the new update or not.
After about 6 hours of service at the dealer, it was...
Is the big PCM update the same thing as the ANA6 update/recall that was recently announced? My Taycan is getting the fix applied but the mechanics were confused when I asked.
Ha, I should’ve said something about that! My justification for a bigger budget kept changing once I realized the lead times kept growing. I didn’t want to wait any longer - not a good business decision on my part!
Agreed. I’ve scoured several options but I have to admit, the Mission E’s are better than I thought they’d be. I might change my mind on that when I need to replace them, tho.
I finally bit the bullet. After several years of studying Teslas and anticipating my order, I was disappointed in Elon’s “cool” decision to outfit his cars with the yoke steering wheel (c’mon Elon!). As such, I started looking more deeply at the Porsche Taycan. But, that’s all it took- a simple...
I did receive a phone call/vm yesterday - someone stated that the issue should be fixed, which it is. But when I originally called in the issue, nobody gave me a ticket number; in fact, the feedback to me was that it sounded like there may be a bug and they'd look into it- but that's it. No...
I think this might be the issue. I was traveling about 80ish in a 70mph zone. I might have tried to set cruise but can't be certain and if I understand Innodrive correctly, perhaps I did have it set and if so, perhaps it saw a 70mph sign and hence may may have automatically taken over and...
Looking back, it was likely 20-30 secs- everything just started to slow. No other warnings that I could see- wasn’t using cruise but am wondering if I somehow turned on Innodrive and maybe it tried to slow me to the speed limit. So odd.
I’m driving on a local highway between 75-80mph when all of a sudden, I lose acceleration. It felt like the car just became sluggish and was quickly slowing down. Funny thing is that the interior/exterior electronics stayed on so it appears to be the acceleration that was affected. I...
Great to hear.
Porsche- if you’re listening, it would be super helpful (and expected), that you give your customers ticket follow ups for bug tracking. I can’t believe that we put so much time/effort in these forums hoping someone can help.
@Pandsw - yesterday, it started working! This leads me to believe there was an OTA update they must’ve done bc my software was current and the dealer was stumped. Does it work for you, too?
I have the Porsche Mobile Charger Connect that came with my Taycan- all works fine, no complaints. However, I'd like to have a backup charger in the car for emergencies. I don't want to purchase an additional Porsche Mobile Charge ($2000+).
Have any of you used an after-market J-1772 version...
My dealer was clueless so I filed a ticket with Porsche Customer Support. They said it was a known issue but couldn't provide me with anything more specific. If you've not called them, I'd call to report it.
