Bump - anyone know if this is possible?

MY2023 console screen with new silver frame rendered in configurator...

I am sure Porsche will allow people to opt for a black frame (supplied by TEquipment) for a "small" fee eventually...

Passenger Display or Sport Chrono vote

For those of us who are stranded with the old PCM version - someone posted a way to fiddle with the settings to trick the PCM to turn on the screen even without a passenger present. I can’t find that post now, anyone have a pointer?

    My experience going from 4S original MY20 (Q1 2020 delivery) to 4S CT MY22 (December 2021 delivery).

Can also confirm, I have the power distribution display on my '21 CT Turbo. Haven't heard any clicking sounds from the brake pedal either. And I may be tempting fate by saying this, but I haven't even had any false alarms! On the flip side I guess it's unlikely that I will get PCM 6.0...

What is your opinion of the HUD option?

This is my first car with HUD, I had not explicitly specified it. I was super skeptical and actually assigned the dashboard diamond button initially to turn the HUD on/off. Component Protection Active: PCM Restricted

Disconnecting worked fine and resolved the issue. No more error message, all PCM functionality is present and accounted for. I did so before I saw the post above, so the car was actually disconnected for a good 45 minutes (had a meeting in the middle of the operation). So far I haven't...

    Component Protection Active: PCM Restricted

Yup, the PCM reboot I was referring to was using the two fingers up in right corner, which I’ve tried a couple of times with no luck. As for ‘other key’ - I don’t have any yet… Will try the 5 min 12V disconnect, that should force a full ‘reboot’ of everything connected to the CAN bus.

    Component Protection Active: PCM Restricted

A few days ago this message popped up on my ‘21 Taycan CT Turbo. PCM is ‘restricted’ indeed: stereo no longer works, nor do the Parking Assist cameras and a few other functions as well. Did a search on this forum and elsewhere on the internet, but could not see any other reports of this exact...
