are NF tyres really required to protect warranty?

I'm running non-N rated tyres. Car's been serviced and had warranty and recall work done with no issues. Would it be a headache if the drivetrain needed warranty work? It might, but I doubt it.

    Faulty cupholders?

I didn't look specifically, but am not sure there's anywhere for it to go once it's popped off. Mine have always been resting under the cupholder and easy to see (the final two in the front holder broke off last week, now fixed). I'd recommend putting glue on all of them to lessen the risk of...

    Steering Wheel leather care help

RaceTex is slippy? I may be misunderstanding as it's the opposite way round to me (if the Alcantara is in good nick...very grippy). If you do mean you'd prefer the RaceTex one, why not just swap them over and sell the leather one?

    Steering Wheel leather care help

It's an option I suppose 🙂 But then why date Kylie Minogue only to go for dinner and on holiday with Mama Fratelli in case you wear Kylie out!

    Steering Wheel leather care help

Just did mine this weekend. Sonax Alcantara cleaner. It's great stuff. I'm ashamed to say my steering wheel looked like gloss leather with the amount of crap on it after not being cleaned for a while (I blame the OH's moisturiser 😁). Looks and feels like new now after 30mins at the...

    Ferrari Luce reveal

Interesting. But 600k? Wow. The instrument clusters look like a Jeep (not in a good way). They could have used the same touches but in a much more classy, less Tonka toy way. Externally....bit of a shame they didn't go all out on a 2-door or Taycan like saloon....but I don't dislike it. I...

So, has there really been no credible news…

If they could make the front and rear a bit more delicate/finessed (which isn't in the current Porsche design language), that could look really nice. I hope they keep the J1.1 Taycan style headlight opening. Charge port only at the rear....?

    How bad is this damge?

The yellowy brown section you can just see in the photos behind the damage panel is what you need to look at. If that's OK, you should be OK (other than repair costs if you want to repair it).

Taycan Powder Coating - Help Me Pick My Next Wheel Color!

I think I may have gone a shade dark with mine (satin black before)....though the sun had died down a chunk when I took the photos and when it catches them they are a bit lighter. They'll likely need refurbing again at some point, so think Highlander Bronze might be next :)

So I bought the Michelin CC2 and I dunno - did I make a mistake

Thanks. Reason for asking is mine were upped by the dealer to 40psi+ when I noted the infamous tyre shoulder wear issue. Seems to be happening less since then (running 40/45 regardless of load currently).

So I bought the Michelin CC2 and I dunno - did I make a mistake

What size wheels and tyres do those running sub-40psi have?

    Oh, deer! Taycan GT3.

It's interesting that they colour code the hinges. They're hidden unless the frunk panel is open. And it strikes me as adding cost and time to any repairs. They should just have them in black and be done with it.

    Oh, deer! Taycan GT3.

Bad luck finpat. Lovely colour :)

    Porsche Connect Ending

You can control when the car takes charge, and how much, plus schedule pre-heating, from inside the car. As much as I think their approach to the software in the car is dire, there's no chance of arguing it from a legal standpoint. If the upcoming BMW M3 Touring is as good as it sounds like...

Porsche EV Insights v2.0 - Now with Live Vehicle Data

Really nice - covers a load of stuff I've been doing manually. Does it only bring in a calendar year of trips? Could it bring in more, or is this all Porsche store in granular detail?

    EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues

Thanks Leccy. Fingers crossed it actually fixes things and doesn't create additional problems down the line because of their approach.

Centre cap not in all the way

Have you tried fitting that cap in another wheel (and another wheel's cap on this one)? Would tell you whether it's the wheel or cap. If they're like mine, they're plastic tabs/lugs with a metal spring ring around them. I wonder if one or the other is broken. Finding out whether it's the...

    EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues

Sorry to bombard with questions...does it remember the chargers you filter on (am assuming it does network and power?)? I need to send my centre a bit of a snotagram after my last service episode...might put me to the bottom of the list. Disappointed by very far from surprised that this is...

So I bought the Michelin CC2 and I dunno - did I make a mistake

It's something like... In the PCM... settings>car>additional (chassis) settings>activate jack mode. If you didn't know about this, and your tyre place isn't used to Taycans, the chances are they didn't put it in jack mode in the first place. Which may have caused issues... BUT I think only if...
