Planning to use Wetteren outbound on 17th July and on the return on the 24th July.
(I'll report the other stops on the way to/from Budapest as well)
Wasn't planning on using Living Tomorrow on the basis that I'd use Wetteren on the way out and thus avoid the detour.
Might give Veurne a go...

That's good info. I was planning to use Wetteren at around 830am on my way out. Not because I need a charge but we're stopping for a coffee after an early start so may as well throw in some charge. I'm unlikely to see a really good speed as I'll be topping up with around 50% SOC.
I'll...
I think it is hit and miss. Had one session where speed was very low, sub 100kW, but otherwise fine and get 150kW on average over 7 sessions. Hopefully not an issue in a few weeks as it's my 1st stop on a road trip to Budapest.
I don't think your experience at Cobham is down to the car.
i have an EQS and when I charged at Cobham initially (June/JulyAugust 2021) I could get 210kW. Since then the max I have had, even from 8% SOC, is 120kW. Makes no difference whether all points are in use or whether I'm the only one...
If a new Batman movie was in the pipeline and they were looking for a car... this would be it! Really nice, mean looking, car you have. Congrats on your purchase!
IONITY are usually busy at most places I think - especially the Cobham one with it being on the M25.
Other manufacturers also offer discounts with IONITY - Hyundai and Mercedes for sure and maybe Audi and VW as well.
With the price of Gridserve and the like now being basically the same as...
caution noted. I am being optimistic on the basis that the ST is a relatively new model, two separate OPC (reading and Cambridge) had confirmed ST is on much shorter delivery than a coupe, I’d back/forthed this with Zenith and my company Zenith account manager, and (most importantly) I think I...
If I had bought the car it would have been £95,000 I think. Yes, a cheap spec for a Taycan CT4S... but it's leased, not mine.
My lease cost was based on 3 years and 7.5k miles per year, no deposit, free home charger and installation and fully maintained. I could also hand the car back with zero...
It was actually £711 per month. It's low because it's a Salary Sacrifice under the Electric Car Benefit Scheme.
The Gross 'Sacrificed' amount was £1,800 per month - but the way the taxation system works in the UK meant that the 'net' cost to me ended up being quite low.
I did a comparison in...
That is really interesting - as I placed, and then cancelled, via Tusker too.
When I placed my order (~2 months before you, and before the war in the Ukraine) the lead time on the Tusker site was 50 weeks - and the Porsche dealer emailed to 'confirm' a scheduled delivery of March 2023 (with no...
Definitely 1st world issues. All it means is I'll wait a little longer.
The volume of Taycans that can be produced, and the volume sold in the US was always going to mean a smaller allocation to the UK - and that did come into my thinking too.
I'll be unlikely to put down a deposit as the lease runs for 3 years and the only way out of it is to leave the company I work for. The lease company manage all the logistics of a change of vehicle at the end of the lease and will time the arrival of the new one with the end of the lease. Works...
I was told something similar by the dealer, circa 1 month ago, that was supplying my CT4S here in the UK. I ordered via a Company Car scheme in Feb 2022 with a delivery time 11 months later. I asked some specific questions:
1) Has production slowed or stopped?
His answer was it has not...
Wow, you seem to have done very well there!
I ordered mine 24 March 2022 - and estimated delivery is 'late March 2023'.
Maybe Poland has more allocation... or maybe lease orders (as mine is) are given a lower priority in the queues??
Something I didn't think worth having was the electric sound option - but I've changed my mind and I'll look to have it added.
When I am out doing DIY in the front garden I'd see a car go by. I've seen it quite a few times now - it's a VW ID3. I only notice it once it's gone a little past and...
Ok, not sure this is allowed here... but I saw this and thought it was very interesting:
I think I might watch it once every few weeks and pretend/wish/dream that one of them is my vehicle being built.
Blimey, if anyone thinks that sub-10K for options is bare-bones then they'll think that Scrooge 2 is coming out this Xmas - and I'm the star of it! And they're also nuts!
What options are 'required' is subjective and personal.
I'm leasing a CT 4S via salary sacrifice so got the minimum of what...
