Porsche has sadly turned the corner and is now mainly a "lifestyle brand". How many of the people in this video do you think actually owned a Porsche in the past???
Perfect timing for this question! I'm going to be there with my family January 2-3. The factory will be closed for winter break, but the museum will be open and also MB. I'll be watching this post for ideas. Cheers!
It’s fashionable for some to trash talk the Taycan, but we have had ours now for 3 months shy of 2 years. It’s my wifes daily driver and it’s had exactly ZERO trips to the dealer for any repair or maintenance. ZERO. Our 2023 Taycan 4S Cross Turismo has been a model of reliability and remains the...
we used to make that drive 9 times a year. Do you and the family also stop in Barstow at the In n Out? ?
i doubt it would be practical to do what you want. For what it’s worth, we specced my wife's CT with the UV reducing glass and the VLC roof and we have zero issues with heat. So it does...
No. It’s going to need to be dyed. Porsche leathers are always very susceptible to water staining. The more premium version, the easier it is to damage them. And if water gets into the ventilation holes, you’ll have permanent damage from the underside swelling. Shame the previous owner was...
Never let Safelite touch your car. Poor quality glass won't hold up, will chip easy and the installation is often very poorly completed, resulting in wind noise, water leaks and even structural integrity issues. No different than a 911 owner not taking his car to Jiffy Lube. You bought a...
One of my clients is an engineer with the company and has been telling me about this for 2 years. I’ve only mentioned bits about it for obvious reasons, but now it’s being made public. Going to be great times for EVs ahead.
Did you even watch the video? Seems not. I specifically mentioned features and options. Feel free to watch other channels instead. No hard feelings here. And of course I want views. I put a lot of time and money creating videos for car people.
Cheers.
Agree. I saw a video where a Taycan CT beat a 992 Carrera around a small track by about 2 seconds. The Taycan is such an incredible machine. Porsche did what it has always done- engineer and build phenomenal drivers cars.
I’ve been to PECLA and PECATL twice. Some of the happiest places on earth!
Honestly, yes, I do if the driving style during that charge remains consistent with the style that created that estimate previously. As I said in the video, that was a high and we usually see around 285 because my wife LOVES showing off the acceleration to friends and family. And we've seen as...
Thank you for watching and I agree with you 100%, and yes, the lack of a liftgate release button is something I curse often - I wish I hadn't forgot that one for the video. I do believe Porsche will return some functions, like the liftgate and A/C vents back to mechanical devices, but the car...
Thanks for watching and for your comments. I had a 996 in Seal Grey and absolutely loved that car and color. Volcano is cool - you're going to love your car . When does it arrive?
@Bresdo1962 As others have said, if you enjoy driving the Taycan and want to keep it, get it into your dealer and let them fix it. No car today is going to be perfect, or suffer from zero issues.
Even old cars back in the 60's had carburetor, rust, points and distributor issues. Today's cars...
