I have a wierd problem I wonder if anyone else has seen. My SiriusXM
disappears without a trace. No logo, stations greyed out. It’s happened twice now. The obviously non permanent and annoying fix from Porsche is to restore factory settings and reactivate subscription. Painful, time consuming...
Florida? Definitely RWD. I tried both and got the RWD. I agree air suspension a must. Also got rear wheel steering which I love. While the 0-60 spec is what we focus on, it’s only noticeable for tracking or street racing, rarely used. At highway speeds where we need acceleration you’ll notice...
I have a MY22 May build. No update. The surround view shows the park Assist icon on the left, not the Homelink. Does anyone know if this is user configurable to show Homelink, or must I wait for a later update?
Yup. Bought a Charge Point Flex. Set it for 12am to 6am (cheapest rates). Set up a profile in the car for 85% minimum. When plugged in it works flawlessly charging at 40 ampe, around 8.7kw actual. I even got a $500 rebate from my local utility for buying the Flex. Stress less charging!
I have a RWD. Love it. Also tested back to back. In launch control it was definitely slower, but how often would you need that. At highway speeds accelerating for passing they were about the same. I didn’t need AWD for snow. I think handling with RWD is a bet better. My 2 cents.
We’ll, we did it. Benicia to delivery was quick an painless. I don’t know about you but to me it was well worth the wait. Got mine Thursday and have put 150 sweet and flawless miles on it. With so ma ny gripes on the forum I’ve been a bit worried but I’ve seem none of that so far. Nothing but...
My story tracks christOpherus. Same dates and mine. It’s at dealers today awaiting PDI commencement Tuesday. I have an appointment Thursday am for the unveiling and pickup. Long journey from January 26 but not long compared to many on this Forum. So excited!
As of midday Friday, mine still sits in PDI at the port. Hopefully mine follows yours out. My assures me that mid next week pickup is very likely. You give me hope!
Mine also says tomorrow. Fingers crossed the PCM stop sale from 6/22 doesn’t apply and I get to pick it up mid next week. Don’t imagine much prepping will get done over the weekend. I’ll reach out to my SA Tuesday.
The Glovis Summit is on its way with my baby. Glovis says it’s due in Benicia June 28. My Porsche says July 7. Not sure why. Anyway, does anyone have an idea from experience how long it Might stay in port before trucking to the dealer(Rocklin in my case)?
Good news. My Porche app just updated to show my RWD is on the Glovis Summit! Looks like 38 days to Benicia and back to a mid July delivery. Hooray! How about yours, Christ0pherus? Any other NorCal’s on that ship?
My RWD arrived in Emden May 13. Initially it showed boarding a vessel, presumably the Summit, 13 days later. About a week ago the app updated to show on vessel June 10. That would likely mean it is scheduled on the Captain sailing on June 17. This suggests a backlog at the port. It would be...
My RWD latest is scheduled for production. Last update pm My Porsche was early August, then poof. All dates went blank. Anyone experience this. Looks like chips and Ukraine are making everything totally unpredictable. Disappointing but Lots of patience required I guess.
