  1. Heating Failure

Brought the car in yesterday morning, they said they didn't know when it'd be ready. Apparently they need some special tool that they only have 2 of and 1 was broken, so they only could do 2 heater replacements a day. But they still got it fixed in the same day.
  2. Heating Failure

Aaaannnnd mine's dead too. Dropping the car off at the dealership next week, they don't know when they'll be able to fix it...
  3. Did I get comfort access for free?

They name it differently in different markets (like the confusing chalk/crayon thing). Here the automatic door opening thing is called comfort access in some places and “porsche access” in others. I don’t think we have the “move seat back and steering wheel up so I can get out” even as an...
  4. Taycan owners in Belgium? CT? EV fast charging in Belgium.

Thanks! Took a bit of a gamble on it since I'd never seen one in that color in person, and in pictures it can look wildly different depending on the lighting, but very happy I risked it. Dealer said it's the first one they've seen/sold in that color as well.
  5. Charging 12v battery

Probably not recommended, as those are on a switched output, so at the very least you'd have to leave the car on. And in modern vehicles there's quite a bit of monitoring going on on how many amps every individual subsystem and output pulls, I don't think the involved ECU's would like seeing it...
  6. Has anybody whose car was in storage in Germany awaiting a 12V battery had their car delivered yet?

Just got back from the dealer, they confirmed that it was indeed the protective foil that caused this. Normally it only happens with cars that are produced around the summer (and sit in the sun with the film on), and apparently when removed the sun makes the lines go away. Of course mine was...
  7. Has anybody whose car was in storage in Germany awaiting a 12V battery had their car delivered yet?

Did it look like worms or snail trails? Detailer is thinking that they applied protective foil when the clearcoat wasn't dry yet, and the patterns look like the long air bubbles that would be created by that foil. Edit: like this:
  8. Has anybody whose car was in storage in Germany awaiting a 12V battery had their car delivered yet?

Left my car at the detailer this morning and just got a call that the paint condition is absolutely terrible. Some weird and serious paint defects under the clearcoat. Car is going back to Porsche. I'm pretty devastated. Anyone else who's car had been in storage with (similar) paint issues?
  9. Did I get comfort access for free?

It's apparently called "Porsche Entry" in the configurator:
  10. Did I get comfort access for free?

I didn't spec comfort access (for security reasons) when I ordered my car, it's not on the order note or bill, also not mentioned in the car details on my porsche. It's not part of any pack we have in this country. However I can open the trunk by kicking the car in the nuts, the door handles...
  11. Has anybody whose car was in storage in Germany awaiting a 12V battery had their car delivered yet?

Transport from factory to D'Ieteren in BXL took from nov 25th to dec 15th. Arrived from BXL in Ghent yesterday.
  12. Taycan owners in Belgium? CT? EV fast charging in Belgium.

Lovely! Mine's still sitting at the distributor in Bxl, they were not able to get it to Ghent before Christmas. So still some waiting for me.
  13. Has anybody whose car was in storage in Germany awaiting a 12V battery had their car delivered yet?

Meanwhile mine's still on that surprisingly slow truck heading to Brussels (for almost 3 weeks now...)
  14. Has anybody whose car was in storage in Germany awaiting a 12V battery had their car delivered yet?

Mine was finished in July (sans 12v batt), finally went on the truck the 25th, arriving in Brussels next week and then another 4 days until it reaches the dealer (Ghent). Then some paperwork, so they hope to deliver before the 23rd, if not it'll be next year... fingers crossed
  15. Taycan owners in Belgium? CT? EV fast charging in Belgium.

Mine's also one of the missing 12V battery cars. Supposed to be coming in this or next week... Car rolled out of the factory somewhere in July and has been sitting since.
  16. It’s here (no longer “Nuts delivery estimate”)

And in stark contrast: I ordered (4S ST) late March (this year), production estimate was initially end of year, but last month I got a call that the car will be finished in August (this year).
