    Taycan Values.

I have to agree on the taycan and depreciation. I got out of mine in November last year. £60k in two years was my loss.... Thats horrendous and now over 700 for sale on autotrder. I guess when something so great is possible to purchase via government incentives which means it ends up a great...

    £5000 off a new Taycan.

Well I have just sold mine and gone back to ICE. It’s been the best car I have driven so far… but it’s also been the most expensive for losses. £60,000 + in 2 years, scary amount to lose. With the government pushing back the new ICE ban by 5 more years I am driving V8s again.

All Taycan deliveries being held at port due to needing new heaters

You need to wait for the new heater. I am on my third one in two years.

Dealer advised this noise was normal?

Completely agree with your thinking. If I only didn’t have the dog and a 9 year old I would have a 911 GTS already!!

Dealer advised this noise was normal?

Mine has done this for nearly 2 years and two loan vehicles I have had have also done this, mine isn’t this loud, but it’s exactly the same noise. My heaters just got changed again (3rd one) I haven’t listened for it since the change but will let you know if it’s still there as I presumed it was...

    Heating Failure

I wish you all luck with this! I have just had the third one fitted at Porsche Wilmslow. Failed on Boxing Day got the car back last Saturday no courtesy car available and offered some MG SUV as a hire car by enterprise, didn’t accept the car and used one of my landrovers. They told me this heat...

    Noise from center console

I don’t have this exact noise but I do have a random bird chirping. I swear there is something living in there. I presumed it was just the heat pump occasionally making noises but it’s quite loud and thankfully friends and family can hear it…. So I know it’s not me hearing things.

    New family car

My partner is not ready to embrace the electric world yet! I don’t think you could get a more stark contrast between two types of cars. I must admit it’s nice having a V8 option on the drive again.

    Taycan tyres NW england

Tyres from Porsche and the NFO stamp have been a constant pain for me with this Taycan. Tried a local garage and they have got me two new rears. 285/40 R20 108 NFO stamped Michelin pilot 4. £675.00 for the two with fitting. They are based in Macclesfield opposite the football ground...

Really enjoying my car but hate charging to recommended 85%

Do we really need to only charge to 85% to keep the battery health?. I did this for the first year under the advice of the dealer and now just plug it in every day when I get to work and leave it to charge to whatever it ends up to be with my travel for meetings etc. There’s a long warranty on...

    Salary Sacrifice - Lex

Sorry that was supposed to be over the full term. I have 14 full maintenance lease vehicles which my employees have as company cars. But we control what the vehicle it is as it’s a tool of there trade and carry’s medical equipment up and down the country so quite used to how that works but the...

    Salary Sacrifice - Lex

It’s a little different when you are the employer! The technicians have Octavia estates and I30 Tourers there won’t be any Taycans on the company car list any time soon… we did use Lex Autolease years ago but go directly to manufacturer now as the leasing rates are cheaper for the business. My...

    Salary Sacrifice - Lex

I am on just under 23000 miles and which dealer is this from? I use Wilmslow and the pricing for the service is obscene , when asked what they service on the actual vehicle they don’t list much. I have a problem with the inside edge being worn out much earlier than the rest of the tyre...

    Salary Sacrifice - Lex

Thanks for explaining and with everything included that does make a little more sense, I couldn’t wait for a car for years which I see a lot are doing for Taycan’s I just purchase nearly news that are at the dealer and change my car whenever I am bored with the colour or a better vehicle is...

    Salary Sacrifice - Lex

£43200 a year on a four year lease for something you won’t own - that’s a serious amount of money to having nothing at the end of it. I get that leasing is an option but surely would it not be better to work out how to buy it? I have a turbo, I put £60k down and pay it off at £2000 a month -...

Anyone considering the cancellation of their Taycan ?

Just hang on - purchase delays and reliability are painful! But on the days it works! It’s just simply awesome.

Anybody else taking advantage of the exchange rates for winter rim/tire sets?

I didn’t realise its unlawful in the US, interested to hear about the UK now, I have noticed at service it’s always added to the paperwork that they have NFO. I do love the alpine tyres I had a set of the alpine 4s on my M4 CP fitted over the end of autumn through to march and they make the car...

Anybody else taking advantage of the exchange rates for winter rim/tire sets?

I have always wondered about the NFO stamp and made sure when changing tyres they have this on them - could the dealer void a warranty with a suspension issue or similar if we drive the car without the NFO as I also want to try the pilot sport EV but stuck with the traditional pilot sport 4 as...

    Electric system fault

March 2021, I did have a comment at the dealer that I do more miles than most and this is why I may be having issues. I will keep this car 4 years and put 80,000 miles on it and I fully expect it to do that without any issues - was probably a little naive to expect that with there first full...

    Electric system fault

Yes this is what I am worried about. The only other part that has failed is my heat pump so far and that was changed out under warranty
