I'm thinking about getting these wheels for my 2022 (20 inch). Are folks still happy with them? Any quality, safety or appearance issues a few years later? Thanks!
I did a similar trip in March and had a great time. My dealer in the US said he couldn't help me get factory tour tickets. I checked the Porsche website every few days and was able to snag 1 spot on the factory tour. Then when we got there, I was able to take the full family of 4 on the tour...
I have a similar set up in a 3 car garage. I would recommend the Chargepoint HomeFlex ($550 on Amazon). It has a 23 ft cord and much better quality than the Porsche offering that comes with your car. Cable doesn't overheat and charger hasn't broken yet unlike the Porsche one. If you can...
Please post pictures and your experience with it. I'd like to do a swap at some point as well and would be great to have your viewpoint on the difference.
I am also an RWD owner with 20 inch wheels. I thought there was an issue with switching to Mission-e wheels after purchase since the car is not equipped with the PSCB brakes with white calipers? Not sure if there is a technical reason or just Porsche up charging....
Curious if you've also had a howling or chirping noise when accelerating after the heater replacement? I've had that and was thinking it could be related to improper dash reinstall and perhaps some seals not correctly replaced.
I had the same problem with my Chargepoint installation (except mine was plugged in, not hardwired). If you call their customer service number, they can increase the power delivered to your unit remotely. I did this once and it fixed the issue. Here is another thread that might be helpful...
I just purchased the ChargePoint charger (same configuration) as original poster and have only 3.6kw. Was previously using the Porsche charger and no issues getting 8.7 kw. What is the setting that I need to change in the ChargePoint app? Thanks.
I got the charging error two more times. Charged to about 50% and then stopped. Tried in cooler temperature also. Took the car to the dealer for a service appointment today. They said they had to do a software update that was from 2022 and not an OTA update, which was surprising since my car...
Did a full charge at home using the left side again and no issues. So I'm guessing it was heat (through not particularly hot that day) or some random bug that went away.
I just had the red light on charger come on when trying to charge at home on the left side port. Car is over a year old and today is the first time this happened. Mine occurred midway through charging cycle. I turned car on and off and then it restarted and turned green. I don't recall any...
I'm coming up on one year with my Taycan and was curious if anyone knows how to download the trip data from the Porsche app (mi/kWh, average speed, etc)? My understanding is that the app deletes the data after a year and would be interesting to see how some of those metrics change over time as...
