Hello Everyone,
I was in a major accident recently that involved a rollover, thankfully everyone is okay and not hurt. It was terrifying and I’ve never been in such a situation :(
Thinking about the next steps, I was wondering if my Taycan could be repaired after this major accident, my...
Update: Hoegh Jeddah that was bound for Bremerhaven is no longer heading to AD port as per the schedule on hoeghautoliners, guess it’s a September delivery now.
Im not quite sure if the details are right, but exit compound Bremerhaven (V336) is when it boards the ship and leaves the port in Germany while entry port (D002) is when it reaches Abu Dhabi Port since some of the sheets show a delivery date on the same week when it exits the port (D003).
On...
The capacity on those ships are huuuge, they can load up so many cars in especially the 120 waiting to be delivered (according to the dealer). One guess could be they’re waiting for one of the ships to load up all our cars and ship it at once albeit it should’ve been done much much earlier (my...
That’s very very odd given the amount of ships scheduled to reach AD port. Torino (docked) , Glovis Comet (in anchorage waiting to dock), Hoegh Jeddah (arriving next week) and Hoegh Coppenhagen ( arriving by the end of the month) and yet they’re unable to manage the logistics? I hope it’s not a...
The Torino just docked in Bremerhaven and Glovis Comet will follow suit in a couple of days, multiple ships will be loaded and the delivery must be (at most) in August so hopefully it’ll pan out.
Torino is currently sitting at NAB Anchorage and seems to be running late, ETS has been updated to 07/05/2022 with an ETA of July 07/25/2022 to reach AD port. Not looking good and might slip to August delivery :'(
My order was placed on the 8th of April, freeze date was on the 20th of April and production was concluded on the 8th of June, estimated delivery date is in week 32 of 2022 so anywhere between 8th of August till 14th of August. It depends on the availability of the ships heading to the UAE (Abu...
Yes that should be the case, but there might be delays as these schedules might not reflect the real timelines. Mine would probably be on the Glovis Comet if the delivery schedule is accurate. Keep in mind there might be a stop sale or some sort of blocker that might delay the delivery further...
I specced the Neodyme trim with Bordeaux red because it fits the Porsche crest color scheme, saw the Neodyme in person and it’s much less saturated than in the configurator and I chose it. It really depends on the person but you can’t go wrong with either.
I chose RAS mainly because of the shorter turning radius. It’s easier to make U-turns and any sharp turns and further improves the ride. This video demonstrates the benefits:
I was willing to add PTV and PDCC but was advised not to because overall I won’t sense the benefits as much, RAS is...
Awesome specs, something weird I noticed though is the additional services (Smart Repair) added to my Accessories & Additional Services section for ~2.9k AED and the registration (1.1k AED).
Yes he mentioned that it’s locked by PAG so I can’t change the options and that the order is eventually going to reach V260 status by either this month or the next (hopefully).
Pwl.de/en at the bottom of the page there is a place to choose the region and the shipping route, should have a .pdf of the shipping schedule that shows the expected dates (can be +/-1 day accurate).
These were my options:
‘PORSCHE’ Logo LED Door Courtesy
Single-Speed Transmission on the Front Axle, 2-Speed
20-Inch Taycan Turbo Aero Wheels
LED Matrix Main Headlights Glacier
Iceblue including Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS Plus) Porsche
Head-Up Display
Jet Black Metallic...
Check out pwl.de, you can find the schedules for the ships heading to the Arabian Gulf/Red Sea and choose the Stens Glovis. You’ll find the schedule updated probably after 2-3 weeks where you can see the supposed shipping date of the car from Bremerhaven and expected arrival at the port of Jebel...
