I had my Turbo S updated 3 weeks ago. To be honest I've not noticed any difference in range but that really doesn't interest me. The new PCM software reacts faster and I've had no glitches or issues which I had with the previous version. The coloured icons are also nice. Definitely a worthwhile...
Thanks that's a good price. I've been quoted close to 20k for 18 panels and Tesla Powerwall, which I thought was on the high side. It's definitely the way to go.
I'm wanting exactly the same set up, we have a large south facing roof and could fit up to 18 panels. Did you also get the Tesla Powerwall? What was your capital outlay?
Turbo S with ceramic brakes. Depending how you drive the brakes are hardly used outside of any emergency braking.
Unless you're going to race the car on track days it's not essential.
In terms of handling, driving, performance and the quality of build I love the car. One of the best I've ever had. However the software, PCM and app let the whole experience down badly. It's been back several times for various issues, all software related.
I'm not sure why it should be so...
4 weeks FFS, I moaned when they had mine for 4 days and they gave me a Panamera as a loan car. At least they'll have had some experience with this update. Sounds like they're using floppy disks with amount of time it takes,
Thanks for reply. Let me know how it goes when you get it back.
Mines going into Sheffield next week for the software update, MY21 Turbo S. I've had a mixed service from Porsche Sheffield so far. How many days did they have your car for?
