Absolutely. I've charged non-Porsches many times with my Porsche Charging account. Sometimes via the app, and sometimes via my card, and sometimes via the Porsche RFID key fob.
I have two Porsche RFID key fobs, and both have been flawless. Just a datapoint. Maybe you were unlucky.
There are two types of ambient lights in Porsches. There are the multi-coloured ones that are controlled in the PCM under "ambient lighting". These are increasingly becoming standard but they were optional at one point.
Then there are the standard ambient lights, which aren't very configurable...
The pricing is very competitive, so I've no idea what this guy is wittering on about.
I agree with everything else you say, too. I travel all over Europe on a regular basis, including Belgium, NL, Germany, France, and UK (all multiple times per month), and nothing comes close to IONITY and PCS...
Nope, this has zero to do with the topic.
I don’t think IONITY and PCS is expensive, and coverage is excellent across Europe. If you say there are cheaper alternatives, then use them. Nobody is forcing you to use IONITY or PCS, and Porsche are not obliged to give you free charging.
I have no...
I'm not going to bother continuing this discussion with someone so condescending and arrogant. You're jumping around to different parts of the conversation. I reply to one thing and then you go back to a different post that I'm not replying to in order to prove a point. It's tiresome and...
The discussion isn’t about whether they’re the cheapest. Your exact words were “the fact that they’re the same price as IONITY and sometimes even more than other networks” is a completely inaccurate summary of the situation. IONITY are one of the cheapest CPOs, and PCS is one of the cheapest of...
I don't understand what you mean. Ionity and the Porsche Charging Lounges are the cheapest within the Porsche Charging Service, and they're much cheaper than any other network, both within the PCS, and outside of it, expect maybe Tesla.
So, the pic of 4S in Bahama outside The Dorchester is the same one you've bought?
When I first saw the photo, I thought "not for me". Five minutes later and I get it. Looks great!
I think bright colours like this work better in dull weather.
Any chance they've added an option to just use ACC passively, as in without the "radar" element? I've just ordered a Cayenne Electric, and it turns out it has ACC as standard, and I really do not want that. If only Porsche were like BMW and let you toggle the "radar" part on and off.
I'm resurrecting this thread because I ordered a new Cayenne Electric yesterday, and I've just realised it has ACC as standard. AAGGGHHHHHHH!!!! My worst nightmare. I'm absolutely with Frank on this. ACC is a massive pain the arse other than for stop/start traffic., and for the reasons Frank has...
I’ve used that site many times over the last few years and I’ve never noticed the sign, but I’ve also never received a parking fine.
I sent a detailed DM to the IONITY guy, and I also mentioned the vague situation at Dartford, which I also used twice last week. He said he would speak to the...
Yep. Me.
Very nice site, with the entrance to the IONITY area just as you enter the boundary of the hotel site, so nicely separated from hotel business. When I visited last Tuesday in the early hours, there was no need to do anything with regards to parking payments; as long as you stick to the...
Taking any car to a garage that is outside of an official dealer network for a service should not invalidate the warranty. It's illegal for manufacturers to claim this. It just has to be serviced according to the manufacturers instructions and to the same standards. I know in reality most people...
