I love it and turn it on every time, both because it adds to the experience inside the cabin and also living in Manhattan, lets all of the pedestrians on street corners who cross against the light know that there's a car coming and to look before crossing in front of me.
I've heard it on...
Is it a “weeks long” type of repair?
I’m amazed that it sat in Emden for almost 3 full months with this issue, only to pop up now, inches from the finish line.
My TTS finally arrived at dealership but had a stop sale on arrival. SA said that it was just some QC checks, but now they've discovered that the car has PDCC Chassis Faults and needs to be repaired (I have no idea what that entails) before we can pick up the car.
I live a few hundred miles...
My MY23 TTS arrived at dealership yesterday and SA just realized there's a stop sale and is investigating why and for how long -- I'm *this close* to just telling them to keep it. Ordered in May, produced in Sept, sat in Emden for months, and now this as we near the finish line. This process has...
Are you sure? I had thought I still needed to take delivery in 2022 in order to file it on 2022 tax return for the credit. I put down 10% back in May when I signed the order sheet.
Oooooh! Thank you! I swore I was gonna be on Siem Confucius with a bunch of others and most got updated within an hour of departure so I thought for sure I’d missed this too. Another at anchor waiting to dock (SFL Conductor) in Emden as well. Really crossing my fingers for 2022 delivery to get...
Anyone know if the SFL ships are accurate on this schedule? Both appear headed for Netherlands and haven’t ever been to Germany in their port of call history.
Trying my best to keep up hope for 2022 delivery Baltimore bc of the tax credit (10% deposit paid in May) and somehow missed the...
Maybe, but I’m doubting it. So tired of looking at the same status on TYD. Took almost 3 weeks to finally get to Emden (10/5-10/25) and now looks like itll be over a month at port. I’ll ask my SA if he has any idea. Extremely frustrating.
Yep and mine has all the “actual dates” up to arriving in Emden but any of the future ones and main status is “contact your dealership to schedule delivery.” Instead of the estimated date (which was 11/18).
Not limited to Taycan, was same for my Model S, which is why we kept the 19” Aero over the optional 21”. You can test it on Tesla.com with changing the wheels — I think it’s over 10% range going from 19” to 21”.
For Taycan, check here...
If that’s how people are calculating the range difference, they’re doing it wrong.
Turbo specs with 20” wheels standard (optional 21”) and Turbo S only comes with 21” — which could explain nearly all of the 5% loss of range.
This issue seems to be unrelated to that. My car is still in Emden and yet to be delivered.
Turning off all background and location services seemed to fix the issue for me, but I would expect those services are necessary for proper operation of the app when I finally do get the car.
