I have recently sold my 2022 Taycan ST and have two boot liners (front and back) for sale. To buy new today from a Porsche Centre they would be £237.00. I am asking half that figure, £120. Buyer to collect from near Ashbourne, Derbyshire.

I'm not sure the chrome app is needed, why add cost and complexity? We all know when the cheap electricity tariff is available so why not simply set the in-built porsche timer accordingly. Or am I missing something that is going to change my life for the better? D

Apparently, this is not available for Taycan unless lots of us request it then they might make it available. Only four hours off-peak currently (sorry!). David

BG can't get chips apparently!

My fix with British Gas for electricity is coming to an end in July. They have no current ev tariff as they can't get smart meters! Looking at a switch to Octopus - 7.5ppkwh 12;30 to 04;30 and 34.43ppkwh otherwise, plus sc 44.8ppd. Does anyone know of a better deal? Thanks David

Potential bad news I'm afraid. When collecting my T4SST yesterday the salesman told me that the factory which makes the 12v batteries for Porsche (affecting all models) has suffered a major fire and production has been stopped ufn / alternative supplies are sourced. David

I'll dealing with the same PC. The car was to have arrived with them on Monday 13th June, the first day of my salesman's week's holiday! He wanted to do the handover, we were fine with that and thought we had verbally agreed a collection date of 23rd June (a Thursday is important for us)...

Sorry if this is a little naive but I'm no tech expert. To get the best out of owning the Taycan (collecting my T4SST on 23rd June) do I need to upgrade from my modest Motorola G7 Power to an iPhone to have more memory for all the apps I'll need and to link with My Porsche and CarPlay? Gary Appreciate your comments. The insurer's policy means I need to check if my preferred repairer (Chartwell of Derby) can be agreed in advance of policy inception. Anyone suggest competitive insurers where this is not an issue? Thanks David
