Car has too many issues, after the heater failure and their fix, my car started showing issues with alarm system where it would go off as soon as locked the car, neither US service center nor Germany could figure out what's going on so the car was sitting in their parking lot for weeks, I...
Mine still at service center, seems like they haven't figure it out yet. I'm thinking I made a mistake taking it in, should have left it unlocked like you folks did.
They try to give their own loaners, if not available, Enterprise, if not, you complain to Porsche and they'll reimburse your own rental costs. In my case I got lucky and got a Taycan.
You and I went to the same dealer and probably the same SA but with different experiences. For me it was a little bit before yours, so I guess they might have received more parts by then, "she" did not order anything for me until they diagnosed it in the service center, saying parts are per VIN...
lol, same here with my wife. I had a chat with general manager of Porsche in my area, he was very understanding, explained the situation and provided me a Taycan loaner, so I'm happy now
when they say it's fixed, does that mean that the exact same part was replaced and it will happen again with the next cold weather or is it really fixed?
Yeah sure, I've reported it to NHTSA.
I'm wondering since this component seems to be available on multiple US-based OEM shops, why my dealer has to get it from Germany directly.
How did you contact Porsche Germany for this? I'm in the same boat as you with a new born who only is ok with driving in this car and cries his heart out in any other cars. I was given 1 timeline of 2 months for the part to arrive directly from Germany and today they promised me a Panamera...
Well, I didn't even ask about a loaner, she suggested it after she said it takes 1-2 months for parts to arrive directly from Germany, she said she's already fixed a dosen other cars with the exact same issue.
Service person said she "may" find a loaner for me this week. I'm gonna have a chat with their general manager soon, this is pretty inconvenient and unacceptable.
In 2 months I dont even need a heater, on top of the heater issue, I get my frunk randomly open while parked in garage.
This happened to me too but the frunk, when it happens, car does not automatically turn on and it wont move the seat either.
My climate control stopped warming too. Took it to service center this morning.
Can I use Android auto wireless and car wireless hotspot at the same time? It seems like when Android auto uses wireless for communication, my phone is disconnected from car's hotspot and is using mobile data.
