NEW Updated 2025 Taycan Reviews Are Here!

You are correct! The North of America is the problem! No problemo to get that performance in Europe at all.

NEW Updated 2025 Taycan Reviews Are Here!

They certainly were available AND WORKING here in Europe! In 2021 road trip between the Italian border to the U.K. and to north of Sweden, ca 3000 km, NO PROBLEMS! On Ionity mainly!

NEW Updated 2025 Taycan Reviews Are Here!

I just wanted to see what the latest comments here on page 3 had added on the topic of New updated 2025 Taycan reviews, and find yet another rant about EA and charging in the US. Why not keep that subject in one place and keep the topic of the OP here? All this EA rant is embarrassing to read...

    UK service & costs

France is not far behind I think. The Malus tax on a good 911 new is now about 70 000 Euros for CO2 and registration! Not sure what it equates to in percentage but it hurts a lot. On a BMW M4 it will be the same 70 k Euro at a starting price of about 115,000 Euros. So 60%!

"It's better in every single way"

Not sure what brand of chargers EA use in US. We can have close to 40 C (about 100F) here in France. And the Ionity stationseven if all 6 stalls are occupied, still will give me 260 kW. Given that SoC is 10% and precondition has been done. It has never been any issue on the Ionity stations in...

    Depreciation of the 2025 Taycan

IMO I do not think Porsche oversupplied the Market at all. The demand was clearly there. And very high expectations However the product did not live up to the high expectations of a Porsche! Many disappointments Range was a disappointment especially in winter Constant problems with Software and...

Optimising Battery Health: Topping Up to 85% vs. Draining to 25% Before Recharging

Interesting enough, in the video Jeff Dahn mentions that charging speed does not impact much. It seems high temperatures are the main issue for modern batteries and BMS.

    Public charging in france

I would echo what others have said, you will NOT have any problems with charging in France. In general terms. I am not sure how things are once there is racing activity in Le Mans. There are a lot of chargers around and many hotels and eateries also have 22 kW chargers normally. But I have no...

    UK service & costs

That was a very low cost! The difference that the Porsche centres charge is staggering. Your costs here is more what I would have expected for the details that have been performed. Seems the garages need extra income when ICE cars do not require all the oil and filters any longer

    Hybrid Alternative to all electric

I also love my Taycan when it is working as it should. It has had many issues, niggles and problems, but still I can not part with it. I have not found anything that comes close to the driving feel with any other EV. It is said that it drives like a 911, except you feel the weight on serpentine...

App route planner - charge stations not showing

What route will Google maps or Waze give you? The Porsche app is not the best for planning a route, but it does a decent job in the car with chargers. At least for me travelling along major motorways. Out in the country side it is not the best but adequate!

Is this what I think it is? Electrical system error

I think you have missed @Vim Schrotnock issues https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/taycan-problems-are-overwhelming-an-otherwise-great-car.16987/page-4#post-263224

Electrical Failure of Porsche Taycan 2024

Absolutely not what I had expected from Porsche. I have an 996 from 1999, and that has been brilliant. No major issues, and only off road for upgrades and normal service. Taycan however with two faults like that in the same time, I would try to get them to change the car for a new one. I have...

    Innodrive challenging?

I have Innodrive in my Taycan and make a lot of use of it. It keeps the car in the lanes quite well if you need to adjust anything on the screen or elsewhere in the car. I do not allow that automatic speed adjustments due to sudden changes That may be very out of date. It can be acknowledged and...

Electrical Failure of Porsche Taycan 2024

The number of battery failures and problems on this Forum, is starting to be very concerning. seems no longer to just happen to earliest cars like 2020 either. Then also linked to a recall in Germany? Why only Germany? Porsche have a real problem on their hands now.

12v battery low please connect to charger

When you say a trickle charger, do you have the specific Lithium variant for this. A normal lead acid trickle charger will not do it!

    Two year service

That list seems to be cobbled together in an attempt to justify the price they are quoting? Some of the descriptions seem cut from a generic description. Headlight Washer??

App route planner - charge stations not showing

I have never been close to the place, but MyPorsche app will show the charging station if you zoom in all the way. However Gridserve is not part of the Porsche Charging service, so it will not show up as a charging stations there. Gridserve will take ordinary credit card payment. Just find the...

    Two year service

That is correct for Europe. 30k km or 2 years, whichever comes first. It is also visible in MyPorsche app for me at least
