I agree that it is logic to do like this.
however my car has never done this before. It did not stop charging outside that time window. Possibly changed to do this after some recent updates in my car, that have not been done before.
’’it has always started charging in that window, but not...
The service including the pads, plus all other items forth 6 year service came to about 3700 Euros. Disks were fine and not replaced.
But I now do not have any brake recuperation when using the brake pedal?? Surprisingly after having driven the car 1100 km after service. So back to the workshop...
I am no longer so sure how the charging system works now. I have not used my car much this year. Quite frankly absolutely tired of all the Gremlins in the software. Navigation, charging with DC, brake recuperation not working, the list is long and the Porsche dealer is helpless.
However we used...
The PMCC is too large to bring along, we can agree on that. But if you get the different connectors, ie 16 amp and 32 amp, one or 3 phase, it can be very useful on road trips off the beat and track. We often can get some decent power with it in the remote mountain villages here. Getting help...
OP stated that he has driven the car6 months on ”new tyres”? But did not state the amount of miles? Those tyres look completely worn out across the tyre in my view. My first set of Summer tyres lasted close to 45,000 km I think and they had a lot more thread left.
’A nail and a pothole damage...
I also own a Taycan from Feb 2020 with about 80,000 km o the clock. Mainly used for long distance driving and thus about 75+% DC fast charging. My SoH shows 88.4% and can jump up to over 89% -90% after a recalibration cycle. For a six year old, mainly fast DC charged car, I am quite satisfied...
Surprised that yours do not work well. Mine are absolutely great and have performed very well. I think I have only been flashed at maximum a handful of times with nearly 80 k km’s driving.
That is the scary thing about it.
’Looking at Xiaomi now and just 3 years ago they only were known for mobiles. Now they have in 2 years time produced in the region of 500 k cars! They have set the fastest time for a production EV around Nurburgring. So it can do a bit more than just go fast...
I have the same experience with pricing here in France. This year however the extensions were a lot dearer, not just because of age of car, but general increases. Shows you the confidence is detoriating for Porsche Taycan’s quality.
I guess this is mainly due to not having any of the Chinese cars in USA.
’We own a Chinese car Zeekr 7X in Sweden and it is far too early to talk about reliabilityand quality long term. But the build quality is far above many established European brands. And miles batter than a Tesla. Add all...
@Gru , very interesting observation, thanks for sharing. I must try that out on our next trip. I have relied in ABRP and Google maps at the moment and drive most of the time in Sport + to get a bit of heat in the battery, but nowhere enough.
On another note, I have seen you have published...
