Isnt that sth to do by Porsche? Otherwise they may claim I temper with the system or so....i may call Porsche assistance and ask. Because normally owners do not disconnect the 12V system no? Just wondering if that is common practice.
Thank you
I have exactly the same since today. Oit of the blues.
I am on the new software 3892 for a few weeks now.
The screen, even after reset, even after >15min wait, does only show Porsche. Can't get in anymore.
Call porsche assistance?
Does anyone know if the newer series is more reliable than older series? I got hold of the serienumbers old vs new and noticed hardware update / software update.
Did they perhaps update the MOSFETS as well in the newer / latest CH version? Perhaps @ct14garage has seen a couple of broken "CH"...
Where to order please?
Do you have the parts numbers for the front / back pads and the bolts...?
And what else needs to be done in order to complete such service? And main question will it be allowed by Porsche? I am due next year for 90k km / 6 yrs service...and Porsche quoted me abt 6k euro...
Was wondering as well. Got my car back today after service and yes with a new heater aa well! WSL32 campaign apparently. I had 2 failed earlier...now number 3 has been installed. Must be an improved version once again!
Went to PC today. They told me many are shown in the ordering systems as "back order", but the OBCs can still be ordered and receive within a day. The supplier of the 11kW OBC is still producing a lot. But perhaps as it looks it differs per country. Here sufficient stock at the moment.
Mine failed for the 2nd time, and I refused the downgrade. As a result car is at the dealer and zero communication whatsoever from them despite my attempt. Lawyer on the case. To me the 22kW OBC is paramount, actually I traded in fairly new 4s CT for a Turbo S with 22kW capability. Consumer...
Some say there is a new version from a new supplier as I read on other forums. Cannot confirm, just read, but seems legit. Anyone else heard this?
Apparently 10 units hit the UK. Perhaps others to the USA?
Is it really a recommendation or is it a must in order to keep your approved?
My turn next year for the PCCB pads.
Wonder if it is really necessary....
How often did it fail so far? How many km have you driven after a new one was installed? Many thanks.
In the same situation. Failed twice now. I do not accept a 11kw version.
