I'll go back to Germany soon.
I'll monitor the power required to drive at high speeds: I guess it doesn't need more than 50% of max. power. ì would be curious to know what max. speed it could reach if not software limited
update at 56k km / 35k mi: SoH : 91.2
Mainly highways (so DC) since last update: i never activate the preserve battery option and I'm always impressed by the charging speeds.
You could get an ODBII and check the SoH of the battery.

It seems a bit low, but it depends on many parameters: wheels, weather, the way you drive, downtown/highway, ...
i find
I find it quite handy actually, like today for instance : one hand holding the umbrella and the other one the (heavy) shopping bags that i didn't want to put on the ground.
it works fine with the feet not under the center, but slightly on the left. And not moving too fast.
any new version of Windows (for instance) brings its new list of bugs. I don’t expect the JII to be less bug free than JI.
They’ll just be ... different bugs 🤷🏻♂️
a 8hr trip : heater was mainly on when approaching the charging stops and preheating the battery for fast charging.
It won't add much at these speeds on highway
yes ... and no. As an example, if we assume the heater requires a constant 3 kWh,
- driving at 100km/hr, assuming we need 20 kWh to move the car, the total consumption would be 23 kWh / 100 km
- but driving downtown at an average speed of 16 km/h, with the same consumption of 20 kWh, the total...
and the last test this morning:
- very similar initial conditions: outside temp. slightly higher than yesterday (9°). battery temp. (8°) one degree less
- exact same trip
- but in Range mode with AC (set on auto 21°)
Heater did start high, and worked during the whole trip, while inside temp...
Well, conditions were slightly different this morning but it doesn’t affect the conclusion IMHO.
Car was slightly coverd by a thin layer of ice. i never use ice scrappers so i decided to use the preheat to remove it before starting the car. After 13mn, SoC went down by 2.7%. But the battery...
